My sister married the cop that caught me on my dirtbike when I was 14yo. He only caught me because I ran out of gas. Being underage at the time they had to call home.

Mom shows up with my sister and while I am cuffed in the back of the cruiser, my sister is picking him up asking him for his number.

After that, whenever he showed up to our house for lunch and Iced Tea, I'd immediately drag me dirt bike out and start riding wheelies up and down the street.

Every time I was cuffed I deserved it, and those interactions were professional.

Even the assholes know the difference between freedom and tyranny. IMHO even the "assholes" will only go so far before fighting Americans wanting freedom.

>when I see things like what's gone on in Australia

Aussies protestors were not armed to the teeth.

There is NO WAY Law Enforcement would go to war with America. During Bundy Ranch standoff, they stood down. If police opened up on a group of protestors (families regular people) the wrath that would come down on them ALL is why they will never do it.

Cops (good and bad) have families and are afraid of not being able to take care of them is why they follow orders.

That being said, I cannot fathom American police dragging people from their homes, away from their kids, over mandates, or disarming law-abiding citizens.

The cops I know will not cross that line.
