Fracking in the sense that a geothermal plant was plopped down on a volcano with HUGE help from Harry Reid.

See the last half dozen posts here:

https://8ch.net/qresearch/res/1300343.html

They were pumping cold Pacific water into boreholes drilled into an active volcano (Kilauea) to make steam to make electricity.

Switzerland tried it (cold.water into deep boreholes) and it resulted in earthquakes so they killed the project.

Immediately after the action started on May 4th, a LOT of people dumped the company's stock. Too long to post here. See other thread at link.

Look at 1 month price history. They dumped immediately because they knew their plant had initiated instability in Kilauea.

They've had minor quakes before, but nothing like this. Over 1200 M2.5+ quakes in the past month.

The whole thing is not settling down.

They knew.

No, I had been going through some notables and lost track of not being in the current bread. Saw your post and went to reply, said bread was full and went back to catalog, into current time bread and posted it.

Kinna weird, I'll admit. Post is relevant though. The whole angle with Reid and cohorts getting hundreds of millions for this company to drill a live volcano. Just nuts.

Yeah, it is fracking. In oil fracking it's injecting high pressure water, which kinda lubricates rocks which have been resting quietly for epochs. The wastewater injection is even worse. Look at the EQ history in Oklahoma. They've ruined parts of that state.

Inside a volcano and geothermal, it's injecting water into hot rocks and making steam to run generators . The power of steam expansion is enormous. They inject water to warm it up, some turns to steam and the relatively fragile volcanic rock gets shattered. Remember this volcano is on the side of a huge mountain, which is subject to ginormous landslides over time, which cause mega tsunamis every 200K years or so.

Well maybe they just sped that process up. Using taxpayer $$$$.
