Yeah, it's so big that when you're in the middle of it, it's hard to find a stable reference point to use as a guide. It's just craziness all around, and people who call that craziness "our institutions", "our democracy", "real patriotism" etc.
I remember before 1980, before Reagan, when our big corporations had good piles of cash and working life was pretty decent and moderate, pensions were defined-contribution and careers could be with one company.

Weinstein is not Epstein. What we know about Weinstein is that he made deals with consenting adult females that if they did certain sexual things, he would make them stars. And if they did, he did.
