The situation in Kiev is “not as black and white as the media is portraying it,” a source on the ground in Kiev who spoke to True North through a translator said on Sunday.

“People are more scared of the armed citizens than the Russian military,” said the source.

The source, a senior who lives in the city center, said he and his wife are “more scared of looters with guns right now.”

The man has his old military rifle out, just in case, the translator noted.

The source sent photos of several dead bodies piled on the side of the street in Kiev, noting that it depicts “a family that got killed when they were mistaken for a military vehicle.”

The Canadian government led by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is so angry at the Freedom Convoy truckers and their supporters for daring to question his COVID-19 vaccine order that officials are literally implementing ‘payback’ policies that are going to hurt all citizens.

Though Trudeau revoked the emergency authority he assumed earlier this month to crush the Freedom Convoy protest, the damage has already been done to Canadian liberties and the precedent sent.

One of the measures Trudeau’s government used against the protesters and their supporters was to freeze bank accounts so they couldn’t access funds to live. Now, a Canadian institution has adopted a policy that could literally lead to starvation.

“Federal bank @FCCagriculture was compiling blacklist of account holders suspected of sympathizing with #FreedomConvoy. Consequences included suspension of loans,” Canadian journalist Holly Doan reported via Twitter.

Quoting her tweet, Canada-based National Post correspondent Rupa Subramanya added, “Farm Credit had begun compiling a list of names of account holders suspected of involvement with Freedom Convoy protests against vaccine mandates. Consequences for customers named in police blacklists included suspension of loans.”

Translated: The Canadian agricultural finance system is moving to deny loans to farmers, which means there will be less food production — which will produce higher food prices, lower food availability and higher food insecurity.

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face: What sense does that make?

None, of course. It’s just the Trudeau government’s latest petty move to punish political opponents of the regime, only, it’s going to affect the whole of the country.

Mass Shooting Inquiry in NS to Hear ‘Disturbing’ Details Today

Canadians are being warned to brace for the retelling of the country’s worst mass shooting in modern history at a public inquiry today.

The mass casualty commission will provide a chronological description of the tragedy that claimed the lives of 22 people in rural Nova Scotia in April 2020.

Barbara McLean, lead investigator for the federal-provincial inquiry, says the detailed account of the killings comes after more than a year of interviews with witnesses.

She says the inquiry will reveal the events in a sequential way to help clarify how the gunman moved through the community.

McLean says the information, particularly the frightened 911 calls of residents, will be “disturbing” to hear.

Thirteen of the 22 victims were murdered in Portapique by a gunman driving a replica RCMP vehicle and wearing a police uniform; he went on to kill nine other people, including a pregnant woman and an RCMP officer, in Debert, Shubenacadie and Wentworth.

Issues that have remained unclear since the killings include what was reported during the 911 calls and the shooter’s precise route.

Some outstanding questions are expected to be dealt with in Monday’s documents, while other details could emerge later this week.

World’s First Plant-Based COVID-19 Vaccine Approved

The Canadian government has become the first country in the world to authorize a plant-based COVID-19 vaccine.

Canadian regulators said on Feb. 24 that Medicago’s two-dose vaccine is approved for adults aged 18 to 64. There is not enough data to give to adults aged 65 and older, officials said.

In clinical trials cited by Health Canada, the vaccine was found to be 71 percent effective against symptomatic infection and 100 percent effective against severe symptoms associated with COVID-19, which is caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.

“These studies were conducted while there were multiple variants in circulation,” Health Canada claimed. “The data suggest efficacy against multiple variants, including Delta. Clinical trials with Covifenz showed efficacy against the Delta and Gamma variants, and data also suggesting efficacy against Alpha, Lambda, and Mu variants.”
