Saw a Buddy Holly song somewhere (one of two very favorites by him) and looked up how Gary Busey performed it in The Buddy Holly Story. Since Gary is a frequent meme here, will mention that when spending a day hanging out with him some years ago (mutual friend), had zero idea who he even was.

He always had his guitar, even on a (1990s) movie set. Said he did everything himself in TBHS and proceeded to demonstrate. Yeah, he's good.

When saw the song tonight, went down the rabbit hole watching clips from the movie. Wow. Didn't appreciate it then. (Too busy talking Sinatra that day…) Anyways, here's the guy in the memes. He had a motorcycle accident at some posint after the 1978 film, said that's why he needed his teeth replaced….

Never watched much TV, so never saw The Apprentice, but looking at pics with him and remembering how cool he really is, it's easy to imagine that he's probably one of us.
