At the moment there are eight C-17 airborne over US and probably another half dozen over EU.
I would say that fifty or so showing up in 24 hours out of a fleet of over two hundred is pretty normal.
Watch for formations of them rather than ones and twos spread out.
C-17 is the main bulk carrier of the air force resupplying overseas deployments.
Probably warning clowns to get outta town.
