If Biden is Really President, Why is Putin Calling Trump?

The criminal Biden administration and its complicit intelligence agencies have spent the last few months fomenting a narrative that a Russian invasion of the Ukraine is imminent, despite Putin’s reassurances, true or not, to the contrary. Either Biden or his doppelganger twice claimed to have warned Putin about the consequences of invading his southern neighbor, namely financial sanctions. But someone is lying. Real Raw News has unearthed evidence suggesting Putin has rejected Biden’s phone calls because he does not recognize Biden as the legitimate leader of the United States.

Not only did Putin refuse Biden’s phone calls, but he also reached out to the administration’s principal adversary, Donald J. Trump, who has been actively monitoring the Russia-Ukraine crisis from his Florida command center, a Mar-a-Lago source told Real Raw News.

“They’ve talked 3 times in the last 30 days, with Putin initiating each call,” our source said.

Trump and Putin have kept an amicable but cautious relationship, he added.

“I will not speak with fake leaders, but I will speak with you,” Putin reportedly told Trump.

Putin wanted Trump’s opinion on what he called credible evidence that Biden’s “criminal regime” was conspiring with Russian separatists to stage a false flag in the Ukraine and blame Russia for damage done and lives lost. He said the FSB, the successor to the KGB, had acquired from third parties audio tapes on which Sec. of State Anthony Blinken and Def. Sec. Lloyd Austin discussed everything from waging cyberwarfare to detonating a bomb in downtown Kiev.

When Trump requested copies of said audio tapes, Putin balked, saying he could not presently share the tapes without knowing Trump’s intentions.

“If those tapes exist and are really real, then we’ve won bigtime. But I need them in huge way. I have to get them authenticated,” Trump told Putin.

“Trump would like to believe Putin, but knows he could easily be bluffing. Putin does what’s in Putin’s best interest, and he’s not above subterfuge. He’s former KGB. So, he shifted gears; he wanted to know the disposition of the U.S. military,” our source said.

“President Trump, I understand a significant part of the U.S. military is loyal to you, but many still support this man Joseph Biden. I’m unclear how, shall we say, this will play out if Biden orders combat troops to intervene,” Putin said.

“President Putin, I won’t discuss that with you. But I’ll tell you something: If, and only if, I have real proof of a false flag, you won’t have to worry about that. Our military will not go into an illegal war with your country. But right now, you have 150,000 troops and tanks, an enormous number, a number I don’t think you’ve done before, on your border, and that’s your right, but it makes people watching you want to know just what’s going on,” Trump said.

Putin insisted troop buildups were proactive, in case a false flag event forces his hand, and promised Trump that Russia was taking all possible steps to avoid a regional conflict. “If war happens, history will not see Russia as the aggressor,” Putin added.

Per our source, the second and third call went similarly, with Putin denying invasion plans and Trump requesting conclusive proof of a planned false flag attack.

Lebanon's Central Bank Chief Vanishes as Corruption Probe Mounts

Voice of America

17 Feb 2022, 05:36 GMT+10

Amman - The whereabouts of Lebanon's Central Bank head Riad Salameh is not known, and observers say he appears to be on the run after police raided his office and two homes. A Lebanese judge had issued a subpoena earlier this month for Salameh to appear for questioning after he failed to attend three hearings. Salameh has come under intense scrutiny since the collapse of Lebanon's banking sector in 2019.

Lebanese Investigative Judge Ghada Aoun told the Associated Press that Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh failed to show up for questioning for a fourth time on Tuesday. She alleges Salameh is defying judicial orders because he has protection from the ruling elite.

A senior judicial source told Dubai's The National newspaper that the State Security tried to bring Salameh in for questioning, but that he was not under arrest.

A Lebanese anti-corruption group known as The People Want to Reform the System, have filed a lawsuit against Salameh, accusing him of embezzlement, wasting public funds, illegal enrichment and money laundering, according to media reports.

Meanwhile, Germany, Luxembourg, France, Liechtenstein and Switzerland are also investigating him on suspicion of money lauFILE - Anti-government protesters chant slogans, during ongoing protests against the Lebanese government in front of the Central Bank, in Beirut, Lebanon, Feb. 1, 2020.

Many Lebanese believe the banker is in part responsible for Lebanon's dire financial crisis, which has seen the national currency lose more than 90% of its value, debt grow, and foreign reserves dry up. Denying any wrongdoing, Salameh has accused Judge Aoun of bias. News reports quote Salameh as saying he has asked for an audit of transactions and investments during his tenure that he says found no misuse of public money.

FILE - Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.

The 71-year-old central bank governor has held his position for nearly three decades, receiving support from many politicians, including Prime Minister Najib Mikati.

Professor Habib Malik of the Lebanese American University tells VOA that Salameh is seen as part of the wider problem involving the corrupt political elite.

"All of this focus on Salameh, he is basically the facilitator, the accountant. He is the one who helped some of these crooks over many years and certainly in 2019 to hide their money and take it out of the country. But they've been doing this from years before. They are the real source of the problem. I think he has a lot of information that can be damaging to a lot of these people. At the same time, I think he is also fearful for his life," said Malik.

The United States has initiated a number of actions to help Lebanon combat corruption. They have included placing sanctions in recent years on politicians such as former Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, whom U.S. officials in 2020 said had played a major role in corruption in Lebanon.

FILE - The US Treasury building is seen in Washington, May 4, 2021.

Malik urges the U.S. government to do more and work together with Europe to bring justice to the Lebanese people.

"The U.S. Treasury has an enormous amount of information about the money trail,' he said. 'All they have [to] do is work closely with some of these European countries and much of the picture can be pieced together. That is what the U.S. does before they slap sanctions on anyone. When the file is fully documented and no chance of refuting the charges, then they release it. These people can't get away indefinitely, but it requires a will. The West has the tools, do they have the will?"

Lebanese media outlets have reported that Salameh, his brother and an aide were allegedly involved in illegal businesses, including money transfers abroad, despite informal capital controls in Lebanon.

Scientists call nuclear fusion energy test results promising

022, 16:40 GMT+10

LONDON, England: European scientists have announced that they have made a major breakthrough in their efforts to develop practical nuclear fusion.

The UK-based Joint European Torus (JET) laboratory surpassed its own world record for the amount of energy extracted by combining two forms of hydrogen.

If nuclear fusion can be successfully recreated, it has the potential to provide virtually unlimited supplies of low-carbon, low-radiation energy.

The experiments produced 11 megawatts of power over five seconds, more than double achieved in similar tests in 1997.

Dr. Joe Milnes, the head of operations at the JET reactor lab, said, "The JET experiments put us a step closer to fusion power," as reported by the BBC.

The ITER facility in southern France, supported by world governments, including EU member states, the U.S., China and Russia, is expected to be the last step in proving that nuclear fusion can reliably provide energy in the second half of this century.

Rather than splitting atoms, as in the case of the fission reactions that power existing nuclear energy stations, fusion works on the principle that energy can be released by forcing together atomic nuclei.

The JET lab, located in Culham, Oxfordshire, has been pioneering this method of fusion for nearly 40 years.

Dr. Arthur Turrell, author of The Star Builders: Nuclear Fusion And The Race To Power The Planet, noted, "This is a stunning result, because they managed to demonstrate the greatest amount of energy output from the fusion reactions of any device in history."

Many technical challenges also remain, which are being worked on in Europe by the Eurofusion consortium, which is made up of some 5,000 science and engineering experts from the EU, Switzerland and Ukraine.

Why Klaus Schwab is pushing Critical Race Theory

By praising CRT, the World Economic Forum is apparently seeking to aggravate tensions between races

The World Economic Forum, the exclusive talk shop that meets yearly in Davos, is at it again, this time looking to drive a wedge between the races. This begs the question: Why are capitalists so gung-ho about 'Marxist' ideology?

Once upon a time, in some mythical 'golden age', the only thing common folk had to fear whenever the robber barons met for a weekend of cocktails at some remote resort was that a further deterioration of living standards would quickly ensue. Those happily predictable days are over.

Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum (WEF) - the same movers and shakers who informed the planet that by the year 2030 we'll "own nothing and be happy" - are now singing the praises of 'Critical Race Theory' (CRT), a controversial concept that lays blame for global inequalities squarely at the feet of white people.

Betraying a glaring lack of neutrality and objectivity, the short WEF explainer video tilts heavily in favor of the CRT crusaders. For example, when arguing that people of color face racial inequality due to their "historical subordination," the only evidence given for that sweeping generalization is that "black Americans are imprisoned at five times the rate of white people."

Can it really be the case that all of those incarcerated black men, locked up alongside millions of whites and Hispanics as well, found themselves behind bars due to the inherent racism of the local police forces? That seems to be a major simplification of a highly complex problem. After all, what happened when the city of Seattle attempted to create a police-free 'summer of love' zone during the Black Lives Matter protests? In a matter of days, the very same protesters who had been hurling rocks and bottles at the authorities were suddenly dialing 911, demanding police protection as murders began to occur.

More to the point, however, is this question: How did we come to inherit a situation where a bunch of moneyed elite - unelected and unaccountable to 'we the people' - are able to determine our collective fate between sips of champagne and trips down the ski slopes at a mountain resort in Davos, Switzerland? Surely, the ancient Greeks were not imagining downhill skiing and afternoon power lunches when they talked about a fully functioning 'democracy'.

The answer is that we simply had no choice in the matter. After all, who is going to stop those private jets from airlifting their precious cargo into Switzerland year after year (or to the other elitist confabs, like Bilderberg and Bohemian Grove, which are also completely roped off to the prying public)? Thus, the only viable option left for people is to try and adjust their lives to whatever decisions the global elite thinks is in 'their' best interest. So if Davos Man decides one afternoon that teaching Critical Race Theory to schoolchildren is a brilliant idea, then it will be Joe Six-Pack who must contend with the consequences. And there are consequences.

When the unproven ideas of CRT, for example, are mixed up with the non-stop virtue-signaling pageant known as cancel culture, the result is a wicked cocktail that has the potential to spread fear and hate faster than a Panzer tank division. Already, the woke shock troops have convinced millions of intellectually-stunted people that the cornucopia of Western (white) society - classical literature, classical music, mathematics, even Dr. Seuss - are part and parcel of a white hate-scape that is responsible for oppressing minorities. And if anyone doubts the brave new gospel, there is no shortage of enterprising entrepreneurs charging top dollar for white people to sit through a full course meal while being lectured on the inherent evils of their race. All this seems very strange and even sinister when considering that the United States is one of the most racially diverse places in the world, and more so since Joe Biden opened up the US-Mexico border.

So what would be the ultimate reason for people like Klaus Schwab to thrust these half-baked ideas, descended from a gnarled offshoot of communist ideology known as 'Cultural Marxism', onto an unsuspecting populace? One possible answer comes down to 'liability'. After all, it's not rocket science for the insanely wealthy to protect their lofty positions by aggravating tensions between the races.

It should not be forgotten that we have just experienced, amid the ongoing pandemic, the greatest transfer of wealth (mostly to the wealthy, of course) in recent memory. The World Inequality Report estimated that billionaires collectively own 3.5% of global household wealth, up from around 2% at the start of the pandemic in early 2020. Much of this mammoth wealth accumulation was due to the deliberate destruction of the middle class thanks to lengthy lockdowns that forced thousands of small businesses into bankruptcy. This silent catastrophe made merely rich individuals astronomically wealthy almost overnight. So wealthy, in fact, that the biggest problem now plaguing Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is how to squeeze his superyacht under a Dutch bridge.

Thus, by foisting the 'problem' of 'white supremacy' into the marketplace of ideas courtesy of a complicit media, the more deserving question involving class strife between rich and poor goes missing in action.

There are other reasons, however, for adopting a 'divide and conquer' mentality. In this brave new world we've come to inhabit, Klaus Schwab has spoken enthusiastically about a shiny 'post-human' place where the world of science merges humans with artificial intelligence to create something truly horrifying known as 'transhumanism'. Considering the vast moral and physical implications of man attempting to play God, it would be more convenient to the elite if the bulk of humanity were consumed with race riots and food shortages than with the question of if there will even be a human race in several decades.

Is Schwab a good man with merely stupid ideas? I really can't say, but, back in 2009, I had a chance encounter with him in Moscow during a Valdai Discussion Club meeting where we were both attendees. During a break in the conference, where then-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev was the speaker, I went to a side room to have a coffee and - much to my surprise and slight horror - found myself standing at a small table directly next to the global mastermind himself, Herr Schwab.

At the time, I only knew him as the international powerbroker who gathered around himself a constellation of powerful individuals for the sole purpose ??- or so I had naively imagined - of accumulating ever more riches for himself and his ilk. So we exchanged casual pleasantries about the weather and his impressions of the Russian capital. I even managed to get his surprisingly bland business card. Today, however, I find myself remembering with a bit of disappointment that brief and all-too polite chat. In light of the many things that have since emerged about Klaus Schwab and Davos - an organization of unelected individuals attempting to radically transform society without an ounce of democratic intervention - I like to imagine how differently our conversation would go today.

Switzerland lifts most COVID-19 restrictions

Xinhua

17 Feb 2022, 05:18 GMT+10

GENEVA, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) – From Feb. 17, Switzerland will lift almost all its COVID-19 restrictions, the country's Federal Council said on Wednesday, citing recent improvements in the epidemiological situation.

"Thanks to the high level of immunity among the population, it is unlikely that the healthcare system will be overburdened despite the continued high level of virus circulation," it said.

The only requirements that will remain until the end of March are the obligation for those who test positive for COVID-19 to self- isolate for five days and mandatory mask-wearing on public transportation and in healthcare institutions.

The wearing of masks will no longer be mandatory in shops, restaurants, workplaces and other public settings.

People in Switzerland will no longer be obliged to present a COVID certificate to enter bars, restaurants and other indoor venues, and the restrictions on the size of private gatherings and large events will be also lifted.

Health-related measures for European Union (EU) residents entering the country will also be lifted, meaning that it will no longer be necessary to provide proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative test at the border on entry, the Swiss government statement said.

"Switzerland is taking a decisive and important step towards normality," Ignazio Cassis, who holds the rotating Swiss presidency this year, told reporters on Wednesday.

Several other European countries, among them Denmark, Britain, France and the Netherlands, have also gradually eased COVID-19 measures in recent weeks.

The number of new COVID-19 cases increased markedly between mid-October 2021 and early February, with the average number of daily new infections surpassing 40,000. On Feb. 8, the authorities announced that the number of new infections had finally peaked, and it has since been falling steadily.

On Wednesday, the country reported 21,032 new cases. The seven-day average daily figure is now down by almost a quarter compared with the previous week.

According to official figures, more than 90 percent of the country's 8.6 million population have developed a certain immunity to the virus, having either recovered from an infection or been vaccinated.
