Palm beach county Administrator Verdenia C. Baker advised via memo, the masking mandate has been repealed effective 2-14-22 and on 2-17-22 has announced a promotion for the current Fire Rescue Administrator Reginald K. Duren to assistant county administrator. Chief Duren has been in his current position for nearly 3 years.

The Fire department has gone lock and step with the county administrator and commissioners with the mask mandates and major push for vaccination from the beginning.

Seems like a promotion for being a good puppet.

The previous mask mandates were being enforced via a loophole in which county employees would contacted law enforcement to have trespassed anyone failing to comply with the mandate.

This chief also serves As the current Vice President to the Florida Fire Chiefs Association.

Gotta be something to this more than face value.
