The Movement Ep. 3 "Return to the Middle Ages"

The Middle Ages were characterised by a total absence of centralised control over territorial jurisdictions - and some of the bloodiest domestic and international conflicts in history. It was the realisation of the sovereignty of the nation-state that ensured centuries of relative peace, progress and prosperity.

But today we are once again witnessing the rise of overlapping jurisdictions - only this time at the international level by supranational organisations such as the EU and human rights courts like the ICC. A continuation of this trend will lead to the abolition of the nation-state as we know it, while a resistance movement may ensure its preservation. The choice is ours.
