Former Trump admin official exposes how traitor Mike Pompeo allowed the deep state to attack the security clearance of patriots

Former Trump administration official Catharine O’Neill is blowing the whistle on how former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo allowed the deep state to target patriots and Trump loyalists and looked the other way.

O’Neill, who worked at the Department of State and U.S. Agency for International Development in the Trump administration, was targeted by the deep state because of her patriotic political beliefs for a revocation of her security clearance. Pompeo did nothing to stop this from happening. O’Neill blew the whistle in response to a question from journalist Mike Cernovich.

“How many of you know that [former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo] pulled the security clearances of Trump’s most loyal supporters?” Cernovich asked in a Twitter post.

“Unfortunately I was one of those people. I almost lost my clearance because I was politically targeted. Secretary [Mike Pompeo] and his team did NOTHING to help me,” O’Neill wrote in response.

Ultimately, it was the patriots over at Judicial Watch who intervened on O’Neill’s behalf as Pompeo shirked his duties as an American and exposed himself as a Pence-tier traitor and enemy of the Republic.

“It was [Judicial Watch] that came in and stood up for me and helped me get my clearance back,” she wrote, promising to share the “full story” in the near future.

The entire Twitter exchange can be seen here:

Big League Politics has reported on Pompeo being a stealth Never Trumper who wormed his way into the President’s inner circle through shameless brownnosing:

“Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has created the facade that he is one of President Donald Trump’s most loyal proponents, but he was a vicious ‘Never Trumper’ before he became an administration official.

“You know, Donald Trump the other day said that, in quote, if he tells a soldier to commit a war crime, the soldier will just go do it. He said they’ll do as I tell them to do,” said Pompeo, who was stumping for “Little” Marco Rubio in the Kansas GOP presidential caucus when he made the statement in 2016.

Bill to lower drug prices blocked by senator who received major donations from Big Pharma

Sen. Mike Crapo received hundreds of thousands of dollars from pharmaceutical industry

However, Republican Senator Mike Crapo of Idaho objected to Sanders’ request to advance this important legislation. He claimed that he was opposed to the move because he felt it would bring in more bureaucracy, but it is widely believed that it is his connection to pharmaceutical companies that was really behind the objection.

Crapo is a major recipient of donations from the pharmaceutical and insurance industries – receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars from pharmaceutical PACs – and it’s not surprising that he is also the lead sponsor of a different bill that is far friendlier to the industry known as the Lower Costs, More Cures Act, which pushes for a “market-based approach” to setting drug prices.

An analysis that was released last week by Patients for Affordable Drugs showed that pharmaceutical companies have already hiked the prices of 742 drugs this year, and many of them did so at a rate that outpaces inflation.

The group wrote: “Of the 742 drugs that the industry raised prices on, 92% were on brand-name drugs, one in four exceeded the most recent rate of inflation available in early January, and 93% exceeded the projected inflation rate for 2023, 2.3%.”

A study from the Urban Institute found that 13 million American adults saw delays in receiving needed prescription drugs or had to forego them altogether in 2021 due to their high costs.

Navy charges 5 sailors for leaking F-35 jet crash video

Five U.S. Navy sailors, including four chiefs and an ensign, are being charged for allegedly leaking government footage of the F-35C Lighting II Joint Strike Fighter crash aboard the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) in the South China Sea last month.

Cmdr. Zach Harrell a spokesperson for Naval Air Forces told USNI News on Thursday that the four senior enlisted members and the junior officer were being charged with violating Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Harrell did not identify the five sailors charged.

Article 92 violations can describe a failure to obey lawful general orders and regulations, failure to obey other orders or dereliction of duty.

Rob “Butch” Bracknell, a Marine veteran and military lawyer, told USNI News that the sailors “are either being charged on a general orders violation theory or as a dereliction – as in they negligently failed to execute a duty not to record and leak onboard footage.”

“There are two reasons to charge this conduct,” Bracknell added. “Leaking footage of a mishap might reveal platform or performance vulnerabilities to an adversary – maybe not in this case – but they want to deter the conduct in other cases and they want to deter sailors recording onboard systems with personal cell phones and broadcasting them.”

The F-35 clipped the flight deck of the aircraft carrier as it was coming in for a landing on Jan. 24, while the ship was sailing through the South China Sea. The incident resulted in injuries to seven sailors and the loss of the aircraft after it fell into the ocean. Within days, footage leaked of the crash. The footage appeared to have been taken from a cell phone or other hand-held device facing a computer screen as it played the crash footage.

Videos taken showed the advanced fighter jet hit the deck before its landing gear broke and it skidded on its nose at high speed, trailing flames.

The Navy previously prosecuted a sailor for taking cell-phone video from inside a warship. Kristian Saucier was charged for taking photos inside classified engineering areas of USS Alexandria (SSN-757), a nuclear-powered Los Angeles-class attack submarine. Saucier was sentenced in 2016 to a year in prison for the photos.

Bracknell told USNI News, “Saucier’s photos were of classified spaces, but I can see the Navy resetting the scale on taking photos of the insides of Navy platforms generally.”

The Navy is continuing to investigate the cause of the Jan. 24 crash.

The Navy is also working to recover the wreckage of the advanced stealth-fighter. The loss of the fighter in the South China Sea raises the potential that China, which has already tried to exert broad territorial claims in the sea region, will try to get its hands on the wreckage before the U.S. can. If China recovered the aircraft, they could use it to find both physical and cybersecurity vulnerabilities to exploit.

Forty-six Senate Republicans demand AG Garland respect independence of Durham investigation

The senators said Durhams' findings include "highly concerning, and potentially criminal, manipulation and exploitation of federal law enforcement resources."

Forty-six Senate Republicans demanded Wednesday that Attorney General Merrick Garland respect the independence of Special Counsel John Durham's investigation into the FBI’s Russia probe of the Trump campaign in the 2016 election.

The senators led by Rick Scott of Florida wrote a letter to Garland one week after Durham filed a motion linking Hillary Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussman and other campaign lawyers to a technology company hired to "mine" Trump data servers "for the purpose of gathering derogatory information about Donald Trump."

"We write to seek your assurance that you will continue to respect the prosecutorial independence of Special Counsel John Durham and his staff, while also ensuring he is provided all resources necessary to fully, thoroughly, and completely pursue the investigation for which he was appointed," the senators wrote Garland.

The only Republican senators to not sign the letter were Sens. Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, Mitt Romney and Bill Cassidy.

The 46 other senators said Durhams' findings include "highly concerning, and potentially criminal, manipulation and exploitation of federal law enforcement resources to target American citizens, including a presidential candidate, based upon fabricated evidence that had been procured and disseminated by individuals closely connected with a rival political campaign."

The senators asked Garland to support Durham's "important work until all those responsible for the fraud committed upon the American people are brought to justice."

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton denied the accusations against her campaign on Twitter Wednesday and blamed former President Donald Trump.

"Trump & Fox are desperately spinning up a fake scandal to distract from his real ones," she said.

Judicial Watch Sues CIA for Records of Contacts with Indicted Clinton Campaign Lawyer Michael Sussmann

Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) seeking records of meetings and phone conversations between any CIA personnel and former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, who has been charged in Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation with making a false statement to a federal agent (Judicial Watch v. Central Intelligence Agency (No. 1:22-cv-00412))

Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit after the CIA failed to reply to an October 26, 2021, FOIA request for:

All records regarding any meetings or telephonic conversations between any official or employee of the Central Intelligence Agency and Mr. Michael Sussmann (formerly an attorney with Perkins Coie) between January 1, 2015 and the present. This request includes, but is not limited to, all notes, transcripts, summaries, or other records created in preparation for, during, or pursuant to the meetings or conversations.

On February 11, Durham, who is investigating the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation, filed a motion, which focused on potential conflicts of interest related to the representation of Sussmann, who has been charged with making a false statement to a federal agent. Sussmann has pleaded not guilty.

According to a February 15, 2022, Fox News report, a spokesperson for the individual labeled in Durham’s latest filing as “Tech Executive-1” has seemingly identified the CIA as the “second” federal government agency to which Sussmann provided an “updated set of allegations” to “establish ‘an inference’ and ‘narrative’ ” tying Donald Trump to Russia.

Durham writes in the latest filing:

[O]n February 9, 2017, [Sussman] provided an updated set of allegations – including the [Alfa Bank] data and additional allegations relating to Trump – to a second agency of the U.S. government (“Agency-2”). The Government’s evidence at trial will establish that these additional allegations relied, in part, on the purported DNS traffic that Tech Executive-1 and others had assembled pertaining to Trump Tower, Donald Trump’s New York City apartment building, the EOP, and the aforementioned healthcare provider. In his meeting with Agency-2, the defendant provided data which he claimed reflected purportedly suspicious DNS lookups by these entities of internet protocol (“IP”) addresses affiliated with a Russian mobile phone provider (“Russian Phone Provider-1”). The defendant further claimed that these lookups demonstrated that Trump and/or his associates were using supposedly rare, Russian-made wireless phones in the vicinity of the White House and other locations. The Special Counsel’s Office has identified no support for these allegations.

“The CIA is in cover-up mode about its communications with the lawyer implicated in a shady spy operation against President Trump,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “What is the CIA hiding about its role in this plot against President Trump?”

Convicted Hunter Biden business pal uses Chinese banking associate to plead for no prison time

Devon Archer, convicted of two fraud felonies, also takes veiled swiped at Biden family for subjecting him to "vitriolic media coverage."

Hunter Biden's longtime business partner is making an unorthodox bid to avoid prison time for fleecing an Indian tribe, portraying himself to the sentencing judge as a victim of the Biden family's "vitriolic media coverage" while using the presidential son's Chinese business partner to make a case for leniency.

Devon Archer has avoided sentencing for nearly four years after being convicted in summer 2018 of two counts of felony securities fraud for a bond scheme that fleeced an indigent Indian tribe of millions of dollars, appealing all the way to the Supreme Court in a failed effort to overturn his conviction.

During the delay, the court authorized Archer to make 40 globe-trotting trips for business and pleasure.

But now down to his final plea — his sentencing recommendation memo — Archer told U.S. District Judge Ronnie Abrams this week he should be spared prison time because he was the victim of his business partners, like fellow convict Jason Galanis, and "vitriolic media coverage" because of his association with the Biden family.

"No matter how this case ultimately turns out, Mr. Archer has already suffered a great deal," defense lawyers wrote in the memo. "He has lived with the crushing burden that his involvement, albeit unknowing, in Jason Galanis's fraud caused harm to so many people — not only the direct victims of the crime, but also for example the numerous Burnham employees who lost their jobs as a result."

The memo took a veiled swipe at the Biden family, avoiding the name and referring to them instead as "people of prominence" involved in "presidential politics."

Archer "has lived with the impact on his family, including his three young children who have been traumatized by their father's prosecution and conviction, which have become matters of national headlines and presidential politics by virtue of Mr. Archer's association with people of prominence," the memo noted. "And, relatedly, Mr. Archer has watched the reputation and career he built over decades fall apart around him as he has faced a near constant onslaught of vitriolic media attention."

All that trauma, the defense lawyers wrote, merits "that a non-custodial sentence will serve as sufficient punishment."

You can read the full memo here:

While suggesting the Biden family media attention inflicted trauma, Archer also embraced as character witnesses one of the Chinese banking business partners that helped form the BHR Partners investment fund in China with Archer and Hunter Biden in 2013 that became a central character in the Biden family political scandal.

Jonathan Li, the CEO of Bohai Industrial Investment Fund, drew international headlines when he met with Joe Biden and Hunter Biden in Beijing during an official vice presidential trip in December 2013.

Trudeau Crackdown Against Trucker Protest Begins – Cancels Parliament Debate as Jackboots Begin Arresting Protestors and Removing Trucks

Developing Story. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau cancelled parliamentary debate today as federal police begin arresting protesting truckers and confiscating vehicles. Trudeau did not want to face government while the operation to break the back of the freedom protestors begins.

Early this morning federal police assembled a convoy of heavy tow trucks to begin the operation. The identities of the Tow Truck companies were masked by painting over the logos to avoid retaliation. RCMP and Ottawa police then brought in Armored Personnel Carriers (MRAP’s and APC’s) to support the operation.

Media were told to leave the enforcement zone to help hide the optics of heavily armed RCMP tactical units began breaking the windows of the trucks and forcibly removing the truck drivers. For the same reason popular social media YouTuber’s, who had been broadcasting livestreams, were arrested as the operation began.

The police are slowly moving down the road arresting people, removing the truckers and then the tow operations begin.

Canadian state media have been embedded with the Jackboots in order to show an officially approved video presentation to Canadian citizens. The media are being directed and choreographed from the executive suites of Trudeau and the corporations. There are a few citizen livestreams below:

CANADA – Police are clashing with protesters and making several arrests as officers move along Rideau Street toward Parliament Hill in downtown Ottawa as part of the operation to end the three-week occupation. Ottawa police were seen moving along Rideau just before noon ET, arresting several protesters and towing vehicles.

Police in high-visibility yellow jackets moved in large groups, several ranks deep, along Rideau blocking the road and slowly moving protesters toward the National War Memorial and Parliament Hill.

Behind those ranks of officers were tactical teams wearing green camouflage-type gear and carrying heavy automatic weapons. Police horses with mounted officers also moved toward the line of protesters confronting police officers.

The movement of police was slow and deliberate, inching along the road and slowing driving protesters into an increasingly smaller footprint.

Despite the heightened tensions, police said they continued to engage in conversations with protesters and regularly provided warnings, through social media and other means, indicating anyone in the “red zone” would be arrested if they didn’t leave. (read more)

International hit against Brazilian narcos shipping Bolivian cocaine to the EU

Brazilian, Spanish and US authorities shut down criminal organisation which was coordinating its operations via encrypted communications platform SKY ECC

An extensive investigation involving the Brazilian Federal Police (Polícia Federal), Spanish Civil Guard (Guardia Civil), the US Drugs Enforcement Administration and the Paraguayan SENAD, coordinated by Europol, has led to the dismantling of a major criminal organisation involved in large-scale cocaine trafficking and money laundering. The criminal network was shipping cocaine in maritime shipping containers. Since September 2020, authorities from Belgium, Brazil, Italy, Netherlands and Spain have seized about 10 tonnes of cocaine and BRL 11 million (about EUR 1.85 million).

The action day on 15 February 2022 led to:

Around 40 locations searched in Brazil, Paraguay, and Spain

Around 30 arrests (in Rio De Janeiro, São Paulo, Santos e Volta Redonda, Brazil and 7 in Barcelona, Spain)

Seizures included: drugs, vehicles, firearms, cash and several bank accounts in Brazil, Paraguay and Spain

Multi-tonne cocaine trafficking to the EU

The investigative activities revealed that the criminal organisation could ship several multi-tonne cocaine consignments to Europe every few months. Authorities discovered a production infrastructure based in Bolivia with logistical and supply lines in Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. The investigation also uncovered the command and control centres of the organisation in Dubai. The members of the network used encrypted communications to coordinate their criminal activities. This included SKY ECC, a platform which was taken down in 2021. The suspects used these encrypted communications platforms to supply drugs to Europe and launder the criminal assets. The criminal organisation set up a network of companies to enable the import of drugs from South America and the laundering of the related proceeds. Front men in the payroll of the organisation controlled this network of companies.

The exchange and proactive collection of criminal intelligence, supported by Europol, led to the discovery of a distribution network based in Valencia and Barcelona which was responsible for receiving the cocaine shipments and circulating them on the European market. Brazilian and Spanish authorities then intercepted a number of these shipments and identified some of the companies involved in the criminal scheme.

Europol facilitated the exchange of information and provided continuous analytical support. The intelligence developments provided by Europol allowed the investigators in the field to create a detailed picture of the networks operating across countries and continents. On the Action Day, Europol deployed officers to Brazil and to Spain to support intelligence developments during the field activities.

Headquartered in The Hague, the Netherlands, we support the 27 EU Member States in their fight against terrorism, cybercrime and other serious and organised forms of crime. We also work with many non-EU partner states and international organisations. From its various threat assessments to its intelligence-gathering and operational activities, Europol has the tools and resources it needs to do its part in making Europe safer.

A high-level Facebook staffer was allegedly caught soliciting a minor for sex during an amateur undercover sting operation in Columbus, Ohio. The video of the encounter was posted to the YouTube channel "Predator Catchers Indianapolis" on February 16.

Jeren Andrew Miles, 35, of Palm Springs California, allegedly sent sexually explicit texts to a 13-year-old boy and made plans for the boy to meet him at Le Meridien Columbus hotel.

Miles was the Manager of Community Development at Meta/Facebook until a spokesperson from the company confirmed to the The Daily Caller that Miles is "no longer with the company."

According to the video, the anti-pedophile activist group busted Miles at the hotel where he then agreed to give an interview.

During the interview, Miles admitted that he sent sexually explicit messages to a person he believed to be a 13-year-old boy, according to the video.

"I was flirting, I was talking to him," Miles admitted. "There was never any intention of meeting up with him."

However, he later admitted that he arranged for them to meet after giving the underaged boy "information" and a "location."

Ukraine rejects invasion claims

Senior defense official in Kiev disagrees with Western predictions of an imminent attack

Ukraine does not believe that Russia is planning to launch a full-scale invasion, despite claims from Western officials that an offensive is imminent, the secretary of Kiev’s National Security and Defense Council said on Thursday.

Speaking to TV channel 1+1, Alexey Danilov stated that Kiev had not picked up any signs that a military incursion was approaching.

“If we are talking about a full-scale operation against our state, then we don’t see that,” Danilov insisted.

Despite what he called Russian “provocations” in east Ukraine, he also stressed that Kiev must not succumb to what he sees as Moscow’s attempts to arouse a reaction.

“The purpose [of the provocations] is to make us respond powerfully in order to accuse us of something we are not going to do,” he stressed.

Danilov’s claims follow similar ones he made earlier this week, when he dismissed Western allegations that Russia was gearing up for a full-scale invasion to be launched on Wednesday or Thursday. Both days passed without incident.

“The situation is absolutely under control,” the defense official said on Monday, following a private meeting of Ukrainian MPs. “As of today, we do not see that a large-scale attack by Russia can take place either on the 16th or the 17th.”

Danilov’s insistence that Russia will not launch a full-scale invasion was also supported by Alexander Pavliuk, Commander-in-Chief of the Joint Forces Operation of Ukraine in the Donbass.

“We do not see the likelihood of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine now,” Pavliuk told television channel TSN on Thursday, stressing, however, that the region remains tense and soldiers remain in constant combat readiness.

Fed Implements Tough New Trading Restrictions

..but members of Congress (or their spouse or cat or rabbit) can trade anything they want, as much as they want, whenever they want…

The Federal Reserve has unanimously adopted new rules that severely restrict the trading activity of its top officials and senior staff.

First announced in October, in an effort to move past one of the worst reputational crises in recent history, the rules bar Fed leadership from buying individual shares and other investments and limit transactions to “purchasing diversified investment vehicles, like mutual funds”.

Today, The Fed clarified that trading in cryptocurrencies, foreign exchange and commodities would also be prohibited, along with short selling securities.

The rules will take effect on May 1. Officials will have 12 months from that point to dispose of prohibited holdings.

In a statement released on Friday, the Fed said the rules “aim to support public confidence in the impartiality and integrity of the committee’s work by guarding against even the appearance of any conflict of interest”.

Ukraine Legalizes Bitcoin

Bitcoin is now legal in Ukraine as its parliament approved in final reading a bill that caters to the president’s recommendations. However, the country has not made bitcoin a legal tender.

“The new law is an additional opportunity for business development in our country. Foreign and Ukrainian crypto companies will be able to operate legally, and Ukrainians will have convenient and secure access to the global market for virtual assets,” Mykhaylo Fedorov, Ukrainian minister of digital transformation, said in a statement.

The parliament passed the new Law of Ukraine on Virtual Assets on Thursday with more than 270 votes, according to an official statement. The bill details requirements that Bitcoin service providers such as exchanges should abide by and determines fines for violations of the law’s provisions, in addition to determining that the country’s National Securities Commission regulate the cryptocurrency market.

Ukraine’s Securities Commission will be tasked with issuing permits to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency service providers and carrying out supervision and financial monitoring of the market, the statement said.

Ukraine had introduced a similar cryptocurrency bill in September, but President Volodymyr Zelensky vetoed it in the following month arguing that the country couldn’t afford to create a new regulatory body specifically for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

President Zelensky then returned the bill to the Ukrainian parliament along with his suggestion to let existing regulators oversee the burgeoning sector. Now, parliament has incorporated his recommendations and passed the amended bill.

Legislation Favors Entrepreneurship, Invites Capital

“The Law on Virtual Assets is largely a framework law and requires further substantial refinements, for instance, changes to the tax code,” Serhiy Tron, founder of White Rock Management and the Parea Foundation international fund, told Bitcoin Magazine. “Nevertheless, the document became an important signal to the global community since the National Bank of Ukraine officially stated that digital currency is a ‘monetary surrogate, which has no real value.’”

Tron said that Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation plans to make the country a leader in the global Bitcoin and cryptocurrency market, which the new law facilitates.

“By creating a high-tech, innovative cryptocurrency market that plays by clear rules, the country expects the speedy arrival of crypto investors from all over the world,” he added.

Ukraine’s Bitcoin bill enables the peer-to-peer currency to emerge out of a “gray” zone with the establishment of clear-cut legislation that encompasses how the asset should be treated legally and how institutions should behave when it comes to investor protection and assurances.

Tron said that now bitcoin exchanges will be able to work under clear rules and citizens’ assets will be better protected against fraud or misuse by service providers, including custodians.

“Adopting the Law on Virtual Assets clearly signals to the global community that cryptocurrency is legalized in Ukraine,” Tron told Bitcoin Magazine. “The opportunity to legally develop business in Ukraine will attract crypto-investors from all over the globe to our country.”

Wuhan’s ‘Batwoman’ Advises a U.S. Taxpayer-Funded Group Which Lobbies Congress for Lower Standards for Foreign BioLabs.

Dr. Shi Zhengli – the notorious Wuhan Institute of Virology’s coronavirus researcher – was elected to a leadership role for the American Academy of Microbiology, which receives millions of dollars from U.S. taxpayers. The Academy has also advised the federal government to “remove hurdles for international collaboration” in high-level biosafety labs, The National Pulse can reveal.

Also known as Wuhan’s “Batwoman,” Dr. Shi runs the controversial Chinese laboratory’s Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases and has received grants from Anthony Fauci’s National Institue of Health (NIH) agency to manipulate bat coronaviruses to become deadlier to humans. To many, this is where COVID-19 began.

Now, The National Pulse can reveal that despite being a “longtime collaborator” of EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak, and becoming instrumental in the cover-up of COVID-19’s origins, Shi has a leadership position in the American scientific establishment at cost to the U.S. tax payer.

Dr. Shi was elected to serve as a fellow in the American Academy of Microbiology (AAM) – the American Society of Microbiology’s (ASM) “honorific leadership group” – in January 2019.

She still retains a biography page on the ASM website, which suggests the fellowship is still active. Despite several requests for comments from The National Pulse, neither the ASM nor the AAM responded to inquiries about Shi’s current status or details surrounding her fellowship.

CRACKDOWN RAMPS UP: Ottawa Police Clash with Truckers As They Make Mass Arrests – Begin Smashing Windows to Forcefully Remove Protesters from Vehicles – (VIDEO)

As the Trucker Convoy begins its third week, Ottawa police have mobilized in full force to crackdown on the protesters.

On Friday, police set up a perimeter around the protest zone and moved in to begin making mass arrests.

Access to Parliament Hill was blocked off overnight and a large number of police and armored vehicles arrived on the scene.

Once the officers had gathered, they began their descent into the protest zone. A massive line of Police clashed with protesters as they methodically pushed forward to corral the convoy.

Dozens of brave protesters, many of which were veterans, stood their ground and refused to budge as the line of officers continued to bear down on them.

The police were making arrests as they went, forcefully grabbing individuals who had been separated from their groups.

In one video, officers can be seen forcing a protester to the ground and kicking him once he is down.

Bystanders attempt to intervene, but the officers form a barricade around the man to block their action from view.
