Saw a post a bread or two back that a Ukrainian parliamentary group (or similar) linked to a US congressional group (or similar) was asking the US for advanced AA and Radar equipment, as well as making sure NS II doesn't open.

NS II online would mean Russia could shut the Ukraine pipeline down and still serve Western Europe. My SWAG is the Ukrainians have Western Europe by the balls with the the only pipeline to Western Europe in their territory, and that has to be the crux of the issue. Brandon must be getting threatened by the Ukrainians, and he has to arm twist the Western European leaders in return. I know NS II was set to go, Russia met the EU regulations, before this clusterfuck went pear-shaped.

Only workable scenario is for Russia to take Ukraine and control the pipeline themselves, as all the Western Europe leaders do a coordinated sign of the cross., as I see it, otherwise NATO has to take over the source of Russian gas. This is part of a pipeline from the Gulf to Europe proposed pipeline, I think. That would be Qatar and Iran delivering gas.

Brandon is comped by Ukraine, Russia and Iran, I think. Don't know how he can keep all those balls in the air. Must think Russia has the least damaging, or most easily debunked info. Fuck Europe, I guess. They're the whipping boy short term.

Hope to fuck I'm wrong.

This may be the way it had to go. Trudeau had to resort to violence first. That may be why the truckers promoted a carnival atmosphere.

I don't trust any pols, but maybe the CA legislature forced Trudeau into this move by not holding a vote.

Going forward, in speculation, if CA truckers go Galt, who can blame them. They tried to make a peaceful public statement first but were insulted, blown off and attacked. A trucker shut down will be degrees more inconvenient than honking for the Ottawa Karens and ilk.

I think Trudeau should have met the truckers first. It was apparent CA was generally supportive of the convoy. Trudeau could have taken some air out of the groundswell by making some concessions, as some province heads did.
