WHAT'S BEHIND ALL THE NOISE ON A UKRAINE INVASION?

The Donetsk and Lugansk regions within the Donbas area of Ukraine want to create their own autonomous states outside of the political influence of the central right-wing, US controlled regime in Kiev. Obviously Kiev doesn't like that and would like to send in the troops to quell this rebellion and bring these regions back under their control.

The problem with this plan is that these regions are heavily tied to Russia, both historically, linguistically and ethnically, and they would certainly call on Russia for military support and the Russians would gladly provide it.

Kiev doesn't want a repeat of what happened in 2014 when they nearly lost the region. So, how to hamstring the Russians from interfering this time, then?

"Well," says the US (Deep) State Dept, "let's invent the story that the Russians are planning to invade Ukraine and take over the whole country. The Russians will obviously deny this because we know full-well that they have no such invasion plans. Then, when Kiev send in their troops to quell this Donbas rebellion, the Russians will be stuck between a rock and a hard place. If they help the Donbas we can say, 'Look, we told you those dastardly Russians were planning to invade' and we look like the good guys. However, if the Russians do not act, they lose influence in a key strategic area allowing NATO to move in right up to their border. Either way, Russians - bad. The West - good. Checkmate"

Of course there are more "levels" to this story than that outlined above;

A real war could accidentally result, bogging down Russia in Ukraine like they were in Afghanistan. The US sit back and enjoy the show making billions arming Ukraine.

The Lamestream Media have a "war" story to fill the airwaves with rather than having to report on the Durham Investigation.

Biden and Boris Johnson of the UK deflect attention from their disastrous domestic policies and boost their ratings as leaders of the "free world."

The NordStream 2 pipeline takes a hit as Germany (who traditionally hate Ukraine as being Neo-Nazi) is forced to side with the West and back further sanctions on Russia.
