Liberal Law Professor: Why The Media Is Melting Down Over Durham Revelations — “Directly Refute Years Of Prior Coverage”
Durham dropped a bombshell last week that exposed the Deep State’s efforts to spy on and stop President Donald Trump.

Some see in Special Prosecutor John Durham’s February 11th filing in the case of former Perkins Coie lawyer Michael Sussman, the beginnings of a case which will take down the “seditious criminal enterprise”—inclusive of U.S. intelligence community and Obama White House actors, and private contractors who conspired against Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and then engaged in a continuous soft coup to take out the 45th president of the United States.
Kash Patel, the lead investigator for the House Intelligence Committee when it examined Russiagate and the conspiracy against Trump, has that assessment. And the howls coming now from the media, Hillary Clinton, and Sussman’s lawyers, who have asked the court to strike portions of Durham’s February 11th filing and to dismiss his indictment, seem to indicate that Durham is, indeed, over extremely high value targets.
Others think that Durham’s focus is narrower in terms of criminal charges—that he is after Hillary Clinton, her campaign, and the private actors who fed bogus information into a willfully blind and witting FBI and witting Obama White House, to instigate the bogus Russiagate investigations of Donald Trump. They used Washington’s corrupt revolving door of former government employees becoming government private contractors—exploiting their friendships with those still in government for private gain while remaining legally unaccountable for their corrupt and, as in the Sussman case, criminal actions. Executive Order 12333 facilitates this private mercenary relationship by outsourcing many former government intelligence functions to private actors and shielding them from liability.
Durham is also illuminating something else– the raw false propaganda disseminated by a compliant media at an intensity not seen before in history aimed at total control of public opinion. These fake stories and accompanying total censorship and scapegoating of alternative views were employed during the U.S./British coup in Ukraine in 2014 and then turned against the U.S. population in order to sabotage the Trump presidency and to brainwash the American public. They are now on full display again in the effort to mobilize public opinion favorably toward both the failing Biden Administration and toward war with Russia and China. The hapless and clinically insane Biden crew heaps praise on the information warfare and “narrative shaping” tactics they are using, seeming to believe that their hot air and manufactured hysteria can overcome Russia’s obvious battlefield advantages.
The media went into complete meltdown mode.

The essence of the argument is this; In September 1993, Russian President Boris Yeltsin penned a long letter to US President Bill Clinton, which railed against the eastward expansion of NATO at a time when Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic were interested in joining the organization. Yeltsin argued that the Russian public saw this "as a sort of neo-isolation" of Russia, and that the "Two Plus Four Treaty" linked to Germany's 1990 reunification "precludes the option of expanding the NATO zone into the East."
As Spiegel writes, "There is essentially no other historical issue that has poisoned relations between Moscow and the West as much in the last three decades as the disagreement over what, precisely, was agreed to in 1990."
Since the 1990 letter, NATO has accepted 14 countries in Eastern and Southeastern Europe, which the Kremlin has complained of haaving been duped every step of the way."

38 people sentenced to death over horror Ahmedabad bombings
A court has sentenced 38 people to death and ordered life in prison for 11 others over a series of horrific terror attacks.
A court has sentenced 38 people to death over a string of bomb blasts in the city of Ahmedabad killed dozens in 2008.
The co-ordinated bomb blasts in India’s western Gujarat state’s commercial hub killed 56 people, launching shrapnel through markets, buses and other public places.
An Islamist group calling itself the Indian Mujahideen claimed responsibility, saying the blasts were revenge for 2002 religious riots in Gujarat that left some 1000 people dead.
Many of the bombs were planted in Tiffin carriers on bicycles, a kind of lunch box used widely in Asia.
The court on Friday convicted 49 people over the attacks, in which more than 200 were injured.
“Special court judge A R Patel awarded death sentence to 38 out of the 49 convicted,” public prosecutor Amit Patel said.
“Eleven of the convicted were sentenced to life imprisonment till death … The court has considered the case as rarest of the rare,” he said.
The convicted were all found guilty of murder and criminal conspiracy. Nearly 80 people were charged but 28 were acquitted.
The marathon trial lasted over a decade thanks to India’s labyrinthine legal system, with more than 1100 witnesses called to testify.
It was dragged out by procedural delays, including a legal battle by four of the accused to retract confessions.

BLM rioters gathered outside of the home of the judge who sentenced former Minnesota police officer Kim Potter to 16 months in prison (2 months have already been served) and 8 months supervised release.
Kim Potter, the Brooklyn Center police officer who fatally shot black motorist Daunte Wright during a traffic stop was arrested and charged with first-degree and second-degree manslaughter last April.
Bodycam footage released last April showed that Daunte Wright resisted arrest and fled the scene.
Officer Kim Potter screamed, “Taser! Taser! Taser!” before she discharged her weapon.
Potter faced up to 15 years in prison, however Judge Regina Chu on Friday sentenced Potter to 24 months – 16 months in prison, 8 months of supervised released and a $1,000 fine for the manslaughter charge.

“I recognize there will be those who disagree with the sentence. That I granted a significant downward departure does not in any way diminish Daunte Wright’s life. His life mattered. And to those who disagree and feel a longer prison sentence is appropriate, as difficult as it may be, please try to empathize with Ms. Potter’s situation,” Judge Regina Chu said.
“Officer Potter made a mistake that ended tragically. She never intended to hurt anyone,” Chu said as she wiped away tears.
Aubrey Wright, Daunte Wright’s father, was angry with Judge Chu’s decision to give Kim Potter a lighter sentence than what was recommended.
