Once upon a time in social psychology, it was said that we the people are driven by 2 core needs as it relates to others:

a need to feel good about oneself

a need to be right
I think we're all experiencing and witnessing some serious subconscious fuqery right now.
I think people are deciding if they can or cannot contribute/participate in different habbenings and then judging the habbening itself and it's chances of success/failure, to what extent it's compromised/infiltrated, and how likely everyone else is to be better off supporting/participatingbased on their own decision not to participate/support.
In everyone's defense, it's not your fault.
The subconscious mind has a lot more control than people know. It can be a real bitch.
