Freedom of religion, like other freedoms, reach their limits when the exercise of those freedoms inhibit the freedoms of others, i.e. institutionalized rape [Islam], Luciferian/blood cult sacrifice, and sex slavery of certain polygamists.
The point of the freedom of religion is not to force all traditions into a meeting pot of religious traditions.
The reason for the model is to give room for the most Liberty driven tradition to avail itself, as that liberty boils off the traditions that aren't consistent with the model.
