Filmfag here, found another 1!

“The Day the Earth Stood Still” (2008)

In the novel “Inferno” the Vector Virus is created by Zobrist and is randomly activated to employ DNA modification that causes sterility in 1/3 of the population. Unlike the film, In the novel Robert Langdon does not get there in time to stop it.

In “The Day the Earth Stood Still” the watch can be seen as Jennifer Connelly glances at it towards the end of the film. The plot is even more interesting and relevant as it is about an alien (Klattu) played by Keanu Reeves as a representative of some sort of galactic federation who has been sent to earth to decide wether its worth saving or not. After sending a probe to harvest a human DNA sample Klattu is then sent to earth in human form to cast judgment upon humanity. Needless to say he initially decides we are not worth saving. As the film plays out it’s upto Dr Helen Benson an Astro biologist played by Jennifer Connelly to change his mind. Klattu eventually decides we are worth saving and his last words in the film are “At the precipice we change”

I honestly don’t know what the fuck to make of all this, at first I was sure the 10 2 watch thing was about Tom Hanks and Pedophilia, but there’s no way this is coincidence. I think these watch references are perhaps some sort of marker or reference and God knows how many we’ve missed. Maybe the 10 2 watch thing has got something to do with the doomsday clock as in ten to midnight, or 10+2=12. Ten to 12. Fuck knows. Have at it autists, I’ll keep filmfaggin and see if I can dig any more up. Ps, there was no discernible reason for Jennifer Connelly to look at her watch, the scene just seemed so random.

One film is about a DNA altering Virus that leaves 1/3 of the world’s population sterile. And the other film is about an Alien sent to decide the fate of mankind who’s last words in the film are “At the precipice we change”

I’ll post it again when nightshift clocks on me thinks, they don’t do coincidences.

I get that, but you have to watch the film and the scene for context. It’s all about humanity being on the precipice, and the last line of the film is literally “At the precipice we change” There was no need for the watch scene either, I can’t explain you just have to watch it.

Could be, or they could be markers intentionally inserted into certain films as some sort of truth map. Viruses that leave 1/3 of the worlds population sterile or representatives of a galactic federation going on about precipices while musing over wether to spare humanity or not is too spoopy for me to ignore. This timeline is an absolute headfuck!
