I thought one time that it could be possible for an AI Sovereign to overlook entire communities of humans and develop deep faked realities via one's TV and Internet.

The AI would just plug itself into stuff (like political news and such) and create narratives that human enclaves would believe to be real, and the AI would slowly take over the world by humans not even realizing that they were conquered.

We would just go around doing our own thing, meanwhile the reality would be that the AI had already disseminated the human race, and all humans exist in controlled enclaves of which the humans are totally oblivious to reality.

Humans see deep faked politicians and a deep faked Washington DC…meanwhile, it was already obliterated years ago by an AI Sovereign.
