I had an experience about a year ago where I heard a very, VERY LOUD vibrating sound. It was like 2am or so and I heard what sounded like a random orbit sander being ran on a hollow metal box inside my house. The sound kept going and I began to feel the oscillation inside my head and I started freaking out. I through some clothes on and ran outside thinking the whole neighborhood would be awake. Myself and a person a few houses down were outside trying to figure out where the noise was coming from (it was louder outside), and then it stopped. Never did figure out what it was. I asked my other neighbors the next day if they heard it and they said no. Never asked the person down the street about it, wasn't sure who it was. Really weird.
