Canada Moves To Make Asset Freezing Under Emergencies Act Permanent

Canada has moved to make the asset freezing part of its Emergencies Act, which was used to target supporters of the Freedom Convoy protests, a permanent fixture.

Wow, who saw that one coming?

In order to stop what the Trudeau regime referred to as “illegal blockades,” the government threatened to freeze the bank accounts of demonstrators and anyone who donated money to them.

Under the Emergencies Act, bank are required to freeze accounts without a court order, while all crowdfunding platforms and payment providers are mandated to provide information to FINTRAC (Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada).

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland announced that many of the measures imposed ‘temporarily’ to deal with the protesters (after they had been suitably demonized as violent extremists) will now become permanent.

“We used all the tools that we had prior to the invocation of the Emergencies Act and we determined we needed some additional tools,” Freeland announced

“Some of those tools we will be putting forward measures to put those tools permanently in place. The authorities of FINTRAC, I believe, do need to be expanded to cover crowdsourcing platforms and payment platforms,” she added.

Meanwhile, as we previously highlighted, such measures are likely to exclude protected classes (basically anyone who isn’t a native Canadian or white), with groups such as immigrants and refugees enjoying an exemption.

Russia claims to have captured ‘Ukrainian saboteur’

The claim comes after Russia said five of Kiev’s troops were killed trying to infiltrate the country

A Ukrainian soldier who was allegedly trying to cross over into Russia from the other side of the shared border has been captured and is being held prisoner, the chief of the country’s security forces has claimed.

Speaking at a security council meeting on Monday, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov said that two sabotage groups had entered Russian territory from the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic earlier in the day.

He added that they had both been destroyed “as a result of the battle by our border guards and the Russian defense ministry.” According to Bortnikov, the situation on the border is now stable and under control.

Earlier on Monday, Russia’s Southern Military District said that it had thwarted a Ukrainian sabotage and renaissance group from violating the country’s border. Five of Kiev’s soldiers were killed and two combat vehicles were destroyed in the firefight, according to Russia’s version of events.

Ukraine’s military, however, has said that Moscow’s claims of an attempted offensive orchestrated by saboteurs are false.

The incident comes as forces loyal to the breakaway regions and Kiev’s forces accuse each other of heavy shelling across the contact line. US President Joe Biden expressed concern last week that the uptick in fighting could be the beginning of a “false flag” operation, giving Moscow an “excuse to go in” and invade its neighbor. The Kremlin, however, has consistently denied it has any plans to launch an offensive and Putin has called for a diplomatic solution to the crisis.

Separatist leaders in the two territories claimed on Friday they have intelligence that Kiev is positioned to order an incursion with the goal of reclaiming the regions, which declared their autonomy after the country’s government was toppled following the 2014 Maidan.

Aleksey Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, however, rejected claims that the Eastern European nation has any plans to launch a full-blown attack on the Donbass. He claimed that “there is an attempt to provoke our forces,” adding that Ukrainian troops “can only open fire if there will be a threat to the lives of our service members.”

Leaked data from the Swiss bank show King of Jordan Abdullah II placed his personal funds in at least six accounts

Jordan’s monarch, King Abdullah II, has been named in the leaked trove of data from Credit Suisse bank, as the holder of at least six accounts where he has housed millions of dollars in personal wealth, The Guardian reported on Monday. Alongside Abdullah’s own accounts, his wife, Queen Rania, allegedly had another.

The leaked data about the Credit Suisse accounts comes months after the monarch was featured in the Pandora papers, another leak of data which revealed King Abdullah’s property portfolio, including premises in California and central London.

A spokesperson for Jordan’s king and queen stated there has been no wrongdoing on behalf of the pair, claiming that the source of their funds was entirely compliant with the relevant tax legislation. Under Jordanian law, King Abdullah is exempt from paying taxes.

Ukraine Crisis Version Of Iraq WMD: Putin To Send "LGBTQI+ Persons" To "Camps"

On Monday morning US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told NBC that Putin is planning an “extremely violent” invasion of Ukraine. He cited intelligence - though without providing details - which "suggests" Russia will unleash "an even greater form of brutality" against Ukrainians in order "to repress them, to crush them, to harm them."

This follows on the heels of a Sunday report in The Washington Post that the Biden administration is warning international allies the Kremlin has compiled compiled a list of Ukrainians "to be killed or sent to camps following a military occupation."

The allegations were spelled out in a letter the US sent to the United Nations authored by Ambassador Bathsheba Crocker. It included highly sensational claims that Russia will round up "LGBTQI+ persons" to be put in camps or persecuted by other means:

"I would like to bring to your attention disturbing information recently obtained by the United States that indicates that human rights violations and abuses in the aftermath of a further invasion are being planned," Crocker wrote. "These acts, which in past Russian operations have included targeted killings, kidnappings/forced disappearances, unjust detentions, and the use of torture, would likely target those who oppose Russian actions, including Russian and Belarusian dissidents in exile in Ukraine, journalists and anti-corruption activists, and vulnerable populations such as religious and ethnic minorities and LGBTQI+ persons."

These "minorities" and "LGBTQI+" individuals will be "killed or sent to camps following a military occupation," Crocker warned in the letter.

The letter included talk of a "kill or capture" list. But the fresh claims should invoke the same level of skepticism which the prior "imminent" Russian invasion claims did. The tactic the White House has long relied on is to smear anyone expressing doubts or demanding evidence of the typical "anonymous officials say.." assertions as a Kremlin stooge, or as "amplifying" Russian propaganda.

The Next Step for the World Economic Forum

It has been obvious since early 2020 that there has been an organized cult outreach that has permeated the world as a whole. It’s possible that this formed out of a gigantic error, rooted in a sudden ignorance of cell biology and long experience of public health. It is also possible that a seasonal respiratory virus was deployed by some people as an opportunity to seize power for some other purpose.

Follow the money and influence trails and the latter conclusion is hard to dismiss.

The clues were there early. Even before the WHO declared a pandemic in March 2020 (at least several months behind the actual fact of a pandemic) and before any lockdowns, there were media blitzes talking about the “New Normal” and talk of the “Great Reset” (which was rebranded as “Build Back Better”).

Pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, and Astra-Zeneca were actively lobbying governments to buy their vaccines as early as February 2020, supposedly less than a month after the genetic sequence (or partial sequence) was made available by China.

As a person who spent his whole professional career in pharmaceutical and vaccine development, I found the whole concept of going from scratch to a ready-to-use vaccine in a few months simply preposterous.

Something did not add up.

I knew of the names with which everyone has become familiar. Bill Gates, Neil Ferguson, Jeremy Farrar, Anthony Fauci, and others had either been lobbying for or pursuing the lockdown strategies for many years. But still, the scope of the actions seemed too large to even be explained by those names alone.

So, the fundamental questions that I have been asking myself have been why and who? The “Why” seems to always come back to issues besides public health. Of course the “Who” had the obvious players such as the WHO, China, CDC, NIH/NIAID, and various governments but there seemed to be more behind it than that. These players have been connected to the “public health” aspect but that seemed to be only scratching the surface.

I am not an investigative journalist and I would never claim that role, but even I can do some simple internet searches and start to see patterns evolve. The searches that I have done have yielded some very interesting “coincidences.”

If I give you the names of the following people – Biden, Trudeau, Ardern, Merkel, Macron, Draghi, Morrison, Xi Jinping – what do you think that they have in common? Yes, they are all pampered and stumble over themselves, but that is also not the connection.

One can see very quickly that these names certainly connect to lockdown countries and individuals who have ignored their own laws and/or tried in some way to usurp them. But, there is more to it than that and I will give a hint by providing a link with each name.

Highly Decorated D.A.R.E. Cop Admits to Running Enormous Child Porn Ring That Abused Toddlers

Beavercreek, OH — The Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program should better be called an egregious exercise in how not to convince kids to keep away from substances the state deems illegal. As cops hopped on their high horses and had children pledge not to do drugs, the rate of drug use skyrocketed — thrusting the country into one of the worst drug epidemics in human history. The hypocrisy by the cops who pushed the D.A.R.E. program has been well-documented over the years, explaining, at least in part, as to why the program was such a failure from the start. Now, another cop who pushed kids to ‘just say no’ has pleaded guilty to disturbing criminal activity.

Parents whose children participated in the D.A.R.E. program in Beavercreek, Ohio now need to question their children who may have had contact with former Beavercreek police officer Kevin A. Kovacs. In April 2019, Kovacs, 60, was arrested at his home for unspeakable crimes against children. This week, he admitted to all of it and it’s utterly horrifying.

“Videos featured the sexual abuse of children as young as toddler aged,” the U.S. Department of Justice said in a statement. “One video depicted a toddler lying on a diaper whose arms and legs were bound by black tape.”

In total, as of December 2019, Kovacs possessed more than 780 images and 5,100 videos of child pornography, according to the release. He had used online messenger, social media, cloud storage and email accounts to transport and possess child pornography.

This disgusting individual will now be spending up to the next 240 months in a cage, where he belongs.

“The conduct he is alleged to have committed is both disgusting and extremely disappointing,” said former Beavercreek Police Chief Dennis Evers at the time of Kovacs arrest. “As a former D.A.R.E. officer who received departmental and community awards for his work, he, of all people, knew this criminal activity to be exploitation of children and unlawful.”

Less than two years before this cop was arrested for running a child porn ring, Officer Kovacs received the “Law Enforcement Officer of the Year” Award. When presented with the honor, the Beavercreek police department praised him for his work with young children.

Los Angeles prosecutor admits 2-year sentence for child molester may be too lenient

Los Angeles’ embattled progressive DA has admitted that the two-year prison sentence he ensured for a transgender woman who sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl may not have been enough.

Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón — who faces an ongoing recall effort over his controversial lenient policies — said Sunday that he would have handled convicted molester Hannah Tubbs’ case differently had he known about her “disregard for the harm” that she caused her young victim.

“While for most people several years of jail time is adequate, it may not be for Ms. Tubbs,” the prosecutor said in a statement.

“After her sentencing in our case, I became aware of extremely troubling statements she made about her case, the resolution of it and the young girl that she harmed,” he added.

Tubb’s offensive statements were caught on jailhouse tapes, which have not been publicly released.

The convict, now 26, pleaded guilty to molesting the 10-year-old girl when she was 17. She was sentenced last month to two years in a juvenile facility — after Gascón failed to file a motion to move the case into adult court.

Gascón’s decision caught the ire of the prosecutor in the case and Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, who said the judge’s “hands were tied” on sentencing because of the DA’s inaction.

Critics also blasted Gascón’s general policies, which have prevented prosecutors from seeking life sentences and filing cases against juvenile offenders in adult court.

Gascón, who took office in late 2020, announced revisions late Friday to those policies.

A new committee made up of members of his executive team, including high-ranking prosecutors and his chief of staff, will now review motions filed by ADAs requesting to transfer cases involving murder and other serious crimes from juvenile to adult court.

Prosecutors can also seek a maximum sentence of life without the possibility of parole “where it is deemed such filings are appropriate,” according to the new policy reviewed by The Post.

“This process ensures that only in the rarest of cases, where our system has failed, will we diverge from our principles,” Gascón said Sunday. “We do not always get it right, as no one can, but we do believe that our fundamental beliefs are the right ones.”

Deputy District Attorney Shea Sanna told The Post on Friday that Gascón’s policy shift is to “temper bad publicity” over the case.

“It’s just smoke screens because the people who will be in these committees that will review these cases are his hitmen who will continue to take out these cases,” Sanna said. “This will not change anything.”

Sanna added Monday that Gascón never reached out to him despite being the lead prosecutor in Tubbs’ case.

Razor-Wire-Topped Fence to Surround Capitol Ahead of Biden's Speech

The U.S. Capitol Police are set to re-install a fence around the Capitol building ahead of Joe Biden’s State of the Union address. According to a report from the New York Post, the fence will be built over the course of the coming week. U.S. Capitol Police are bracing for a potential trucker protest, similar to that of Canada’s “Freedom Convoy” protest movement, that is set to arrive in Washington, D.C., for the March 1 speech.

A large fence had previously been installed around the Capitol Building following the January 6, 2021 election protests. The barrier previously remained up from January 7 through July of 2021, when the eight-foot-high fencing was removed. “We are prepared to quickly enhance our security posture should the need arise,” Acting U.S. Capitol Police Chief Yogananda Pittman said in a statement at the time.

Fearing demonstrations, the U.S. Capitol Police will begin to rebuild the fence this week. “The United States Capitol Police and the United States Secret Service have been closely working together to plan for the upcoming State of the Union,” the U.S. Capitol Police said in a statement on Friday. The department added that they are “aware” of convoy protests that are set to arrive on March 1.

The Great American Patriot Project, a group of US trucker convoys inspired by the peaceful demonstrations in Canada, have been forming protests against COVID-19 restrictions and vaccine mandates in several U.S. cities. The group has encouraged truck drivers to join three convoys to Washington D.C. next month.

“The USCP is closely coordinating with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies, including DC’s Metropolitan Police Department, the United States Park Police, the United States Secret Service and other allied agencies to include the DC National Guard,” Capitol Police officials said.

Sexual Predators Have ‘Right to Be Forgotten’ Under EU Law: Irish Migrant Amnesty Minister

Ireland’s Minister for Justice — who implemented a broad amnesty for illegal migrants earlier in the year — has told parliament that sexual predators have a “right to be forgotten”.

Helen McEntee, Ireland’s Minister for Justice, has told Ireland’s lower parliamentary house that sex offenders have a “right to be forgotten” under European Union law, and that the Irish Department of Justice aims to uphold that law.

This is despite Minister McEntee — who is a member of Ireland’s europhile Fine Gael party — having previously promised to do more to tackle “domestic, sexual and gender-based violence”.

Responding to a question on whether she would intervene on sex offenders having their data scrubbed from search engines, the minister said that she was determined “to prevent serious criminals from hiding their pasts” but contradicted herself by saying the relevant legislation was in the hands of the EU, and not the Irish government.

“The right to be forgotten is a data protection right, which the European Court of Justice developed in 2014 after the Google Spain case,” the minister said, though emphasised that companies could reject requests to have data scrubbed if it falls within the category of legitimate public interest.

“It is important to stress that there has to be a right for individuals to apply and, as set out clearly in the Google Spain case, it is not an absolute right,” the minister continued

However, the member of parliament who asked the question of the minister, Denis Naughten TD, claimed that tech companies are not using the public interest rule to prevent criminals from deleting their past, and that such criminals should be refused “point-blank” from having their data scrubbed.

“They are exploiting the privacy laws and this cannot be tolerated under any circumstances,” the TD said. “Once the request is made and there is a historic element to it, they are granting individuals that right and that needs to be rejected, opposed, and blocked.”

‘Libertarian’ Boris Johnson’s Govt to Ban ‘Anti-Vaxxer’ Protests at Jab Centres, Schools

Britain’s Home Secretary Priti Patel is set to sign off on a new bill that will ban so-called ‘anti-vaxxer’ protests from taking place at jab centres and schools.

An amendment to the Police, Crime, Sentencing, and Courts Bill made by left-wing Labour MPs banning certain forms of protest in the United Kingdom looks set to be accepted by Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Home Secretary, Priti Patel.

Patel, of the ruling Conservative Party, has described the bill as “vitally important” and urged members of Britain’s lower house to vote it through when it turns up for approval later this week.

According to a report by The Guardian, the left-wing amendment to the bill will ban “harmful and disruptive” protests from occurring outside schools and vaccination clinics.

It will also reportedly give local councils the power to crack down on protesters.

“This bill is vitally important as we overhaul the criminal justice system and make our streets safer,” Patel claimed regarding the pending legislation, according to Wales Online.

“It must be passed soon so that we can continue to cut crime, reduce violence, and protect women and girls.”

While the upcoming British policing bill looks set to pose a threat to those protesting elements of Britain’s COVID policy, it has also sparked fears that a more general clampdown on the right to protest is forthcoming.

One veterans’ group in the country fighting for equal pensions rights expressed concern that the “highly dangerous” bill would have criminalised previous protests they held.

“During our protests over the summer, we had loads of banners and flags, it was very colourful and visible with huge posters of the Victoria Cross winners. Could that have been deemed too loud, too annoying or disruptive?” asked one organiser.

Britain’s House of Lords has since gutted the bill of some of its worst contents, but fears remain that the bill will fundamentally impinge on the free speech of those looking to express their beliefs through protest.

One column piece on the bill noted that while the main target of the bill is Extinction Rebellion climate protesters, it is likely that it could also be used to criminalise those who protest the Chinese Communist Party’s genocide of China’s Uyghur minority.

“[T]he powers go well beyond any individual protest group,” argued one commentator. “It would affect any demonstrations around Parliament, which by their very nature can disrupt an organisation and, in fact, are intended to do so.”

New Zealand Coronavirus Restrictions Stay: PM Jacinda Ardern Says ‘Battle’ Just Begun

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced Monday her left-wing Labour government won’t lift coronavirus restrictions until they are “well beyond” the peak of the virus, speaking even as anti-mandate protest numbers continue to swell in the capital.

Ardern has predicted that coronavirus case numbers are likely to peak mid-late March, but restrictions including reporting who you meet with in public via the NZ COVID-19 Tracer app, social distancing from people you don’t know, vaccine passes and mandatory vaccinations will remain until further notice.

The leader has claimed the vaccine passports resulted in New Zealand avoiding “more general restrictions across the whole population”, and insisted the current measures including vaccine passes are “temporary.”

Ardern, a former president of the International Union of Socialist Youth who mysteriously blamed “imported” forces for driving protests in her country, also highlighted despite the measures being “temporary” she has stated they will “remain important in some areas though, for some time”.

“Now is not the time to dismantle our hard work and preparation, to remove our armour just as the battle begins” Ardern insisted at a press conference on Monday, the Guardian reports.

The Labour leader also attempted to chastise the anti-coronavirus restrictions protestors who have remained outside New Zealand’s parliament for the last two weeks by suggesting protestors should be “celebrating” that the restrictions were in place “rather than protesting”.

68,000% Increase in Strokes as FDA and NIH Secretly Study Reports of Neurological Injuries After COVID-19 Vaccines

The Epoch Times published an explosive report today stating that they have received emails that allegedly show that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) have been quietly studying neurological problems that have appeared in people after they took a COVID-19 vaccine.

Two U.S. agencies have been quietly studying neurological problems that have appeared in people who have had COVID-19 vaccines, The Epoch Times has found.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) have been conducting separate research projects into post-vaccination neurological issues, which have manifested with symptoms like facial paralysis and brain fog and have been linked in some cases with the vaccines, according to emails reviewed by The Epoch Times.

One attempt to gain understanding of a problem that experts around the world are struggling to understand is being carried out by Dr. Janet Woodcock, who was acting commissioner of the FDA until Feb. 17.

Woodcock, now the FDA’s principal deputy director, has been personally evaluating neurologic side effects from the COVID-19 vaccines since at least Sept. 13, 2021, according to the emails, many of which have not been reported on previously. FDA epidemiologists are also gathering data to look into the issues, according to messages from Dr. Peter Marks, another top FDA official.

A team at the NIH’s National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), meanwhile, started seeing patients reporting vaccine injuries for a study in early 2021 after receiving complaints shortly after the vaccines were made available. A portion of the patients was examined in person at the Bethesda, Maryland, facility.

None of the reviews or studies appear to have been announced, and health officials have said little about them publicly, despite a growing recognition among experts that at least some issues are likely linked to the vaccines. (Full article here. Copy here with no paywall.)

An examination of the FDA and CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) confirms that deaths and injuries due to neurological issues following COVID-19 injections have skyrocketed, when compared to the same adverse events reported following all FDA-approved vaccines for the previous 30 years.

And while none of the U.S. Health Agencies have published or made public their research on these post-vaccine neurological injuries, many medical journals have.

The COVID-19 experimental vaccines, which were given emergency use authorization illegally, should have been immediately pulled from the market at least a year ago.

Released NATO Military Documents Classify COVID Lockdowns As ‘Hostage Situation’ — Captives Advised To ‘Comply’

The most usual hostage situation, as identified by the NATO military documents, explains barricading, or “locking down” the captives, generally preceded by a ‘bartering’ situation, where the lives of the captives are used as a form of currency in exchange for something the captor wants.

Independent Journalist Who Reported on Freedom Convoy Has Her Bank And Credit Cards FROZEN By Trudeau Regime

Andy Lee, an independent journalist who was recently banned from Twitter for reporting on the Freedom Convoy, says the Trudeau administration has frozen her bank and credit cards.

Lee, a Calgary-based independent journalist, previously made news for her research on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s questionable ties to China’s government. According to Global News reporter Sean O’Shea, the Trudeau government has blocked 206 bank accounts and counting in connection with the protest.

Lee’s Twitter account was suspended without cause on February 12 for the Twitter crime of “ban evasion,” which she denies.

Lee claims she was singled out because of her reporting, which frequently revealed the falsehoods and misinformation in mainstream media coverage.

Lee claims that her bank and credit cards have been frozen. “The Federal government has locked journalist Andy Lee’s bank and credit cards,” her partner, Shonn Oborowsky, alleged on Twitter Sunday evening. Trudeau is now going after journalists, which is insane.”

Toronto99 report: It is not clear why Andy Lee had her bank and credit card frozen. Toronto 99 tried to contact her for comment, but did not receive an immediate response. Andy Lee urged her followers to “keep calm.” Under the Emergencies Act, bank accounts can be frozen without a court order.

The banks have frozen numerous accounts, including ones belonging to independent media Druthers, as well as the accounts belonging to the protest organizers. Tamara Lich, the lead organizer of the convoy who is currently in prison, had her bank accounts frozen. This has complicated her efforts to get bail.

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney Files Legal Challenge to Trudeau’s Unjustified Use of the Emergencies Act

On Monday Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergency Act in response to peaceful trucker protests against his tyrannical and nonsensical COVID vaccine mandates.
