Tributes to Farmer's legacy poured in on social media from around the world.

Samantha Power, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, tweeted that Farmer was "a giant" in his field.

"Devastating news," she posted. "Paul Farmer gave everything — everything — to others. He saw the worst, and yet did all he could to bring out the best in everyone he encountered."

"It is hard to overstate the impact Dr. Paul Farmer had on the medical profession," pulmonologist and medical analyst Dr. Vin Gupta tweeted

"This is beyond devastating. Paul was a hero, a mentor and a friend," Brown University's Dr. Ashish K. Jha tweeted. "He taught us what global health should be and inspired all of us to do better."

And actor Edward Norton, a social and environmental activist, called Farmer "one of the most loving, funny, generous & inspiring people to grace humanity with his soul in our lifetimes."

Working in Haiti in 1987, Farmer co-founded Partners in Health to help devise and deliver better health care in poor and badly underserved countries.

A co-founder and close longtime associate was Jim Yong Kim, who went on to lead the World Bank from 2012 to 2019. In 2009, Farmer succeeded Kim as chair of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. The same year he was named a UN deputy special envoy to Haiti, working with Bill Clinton.

Farmer held that position at the time of the island's devastating 2010 earthquake, and soon was headed to Haiti on an airplane full of physicians.

Prominent COVID-19 contact tracing org has strong ties to pro-abortion globalists

One of the first organizations to offer state-wide contact tracing programs was Partners in Health, a Massachusetts organization co-founded by globalist Paul Farmer, who also serves as Chief Strategist and Co-Chairman of the Board for PIH. This organization does work around the globe, particularly in Rwanda and Haiti.

Farmer and the PIH openly espouses a Marxist, globalist world view.

Partners in Health first came to Operation Rescue’s attention while researching now-former Ohio Department of Health Director Amy Acton, who resigned on June 3, 2020. Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Acton hired Partners in Health to manage its state-wide contact tracing program.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has extensive ties to Haiti and reportedly took Acton for a visit there before she became ODH Director in February 2019. It was in Haiti that Acton met Paul Farmer for the first time.

Also operating in Haiti is the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), a program of the Clinton Foundation, which is tied closely to PIH.

In fact, both organizations share a common board member: Chelsea Clinton, daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton.

To show how closely these organizations work, in 2012, the Clintons and CGI joined with Farmer and PIH and the Rwandan government to create a program that was meant to increase the number of physicians, nurses, and midwives in Rwanda.

The Clinton Foundation has produced a series of videos with interviews related to the coronavirus pandemic, featuring former President Bill Clinton.

Statement from President Clinton, Secretary Clinton, and Chelsea Clinton on the Passing of Dr. Paul Farmer

Chelsea, Hillary, and I are devastated by the sudden passing of our dear friend Dr. Paul Farmer.

Paul was one of the most extraordinary people we have ever known. His pioneering work with Partners In Health touched millions of lives, advanced global health equity, and fundamentally changed the way health care is delivered in the most impoverished places on Earth. He was brilliant, passionate, kind, and humble. He saw every day as a new opportunity to teach, learn, give, and serve—and it was impossible to spend any amount of time with him and not feel the same.

Our family is profoundly grateful to have benefited from his many gifts for more than 20 years, going back to the time Chelsea read his work at Stanford, reached out to him, and gained his mentorship and friendship. We are forever honored to have worked closely with him in Haiti, Rwanda, and beyond; to serve alongside him on the board of the Clinton Health Access Initiative; and to be counted among his multitude of friends around the globe.

Paul’s passing is an immense loss to the world, but we know his spirit will live on through the incredible work of Partners In Health and all its partners, the many people who were inspired, as we were, by his example, and everyone who is living a healthier life today because he lived and served.

Our thoughts are with Paul’s wife, Didi; their children, Catherine, Elisabeth, and Sebastian; his mother, Ginny; his entire family; and all the people who worked with him, learned with him, served with him, and loved him.

‘Contact Tracing’ Group Funded By Soros and Gates, With Chelsea Clinton on Board, Wins Gov’t Contract

Fact checked

May 13, 2020 Baxter Dmitry News, US

Massachusetts Republican Gov. Charlie Baker has chosen a group called ‘Partners In Health’ to conduct Coronavirus “contact tracing,” a process that involves teams of investigators finding out who infected people have come into contact with.

Disturbingly, Partners In Health is funded by George Soros Open Foundations and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and has Chelsea Clinton on its board.

The group is already “training and deploying hundreds of contact tracers.”

Some citizens fear the potential for mass surveillance posed by contact tracing, especially in light of a Democrat-introduced bill in Congress to authorize contact tracing “at individuals’ residences.”

Partners In Health’s involvement will not promote trust, considering the group has received funding from George Soros and Bill Gates organizations and counts Chelsea Clinton on its board of trustees.

NationalFile report: Partners in Health lists George Soros’ Open Society Foundations as an official partner, along with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Partners In Health lists Open Society Foundations on its 2015 annual report as a supporter to the tune of $1 million or above, along with the Gates Foundation.

Chelsea Clinton serves on Partners in Health’s Board of Trustees, according to its 2019 annual report.

Partners in Health co-founder Paul Farmer’s achievement.org bio notes: “Farmer’s work attracted the support of philanthropists, including George Soros and Bill and Melinda Gates. In 2002, PIH received a $13 million grant from the Global Fund for improvements in the Cange complex. In 2005 the William J. Clinton Foundation funded a Partners in Health AIDS program in Rwanda.”

Farmer and Chelsea Clinton did a Clinton Foundation podcast together in 2019.
