‘Walking Dead’ actor Moses J. Moseley’s death may not have been suicide, investigator says

The death of Moses J. Moseley, who played a recurring zombie character on "The Walking Dead," may not have been caused by suicide as police previously suspected.

The actor was found dead on Jan. 26 at age 31 in Stockbridge, Georgia. His sister, Teera Kimbro, told TMZ that those close to him believe he was kidnapped and then killed.

"During the initial preliminary investigation, the potential of the death being a suicide was considered while not ruling out any other possibilities," Capt. Randy Lee of Henry County Police Department told Fox News Digital.

"As investigators progressed their investigation and more evidence was processed, reviewed and analyzed, other possibilities have presented themselves including accidental," he shared. "It is important to note, the case is still currently open/active and all possibilities and leads are being thoroughly investigated."

According to TMZ, which first reported the death, Moseley’s body was found in his car with a bullet wound to his head and a gun sitting on his lap. The outlet noted that police were initially investigating the death as a possible suicide.

Moseley’s family told the outlet that they had been phoning various hospitals but were unsuccessful in locating the actor. They then decided to file a missing person’s report. It wasn’t until the family contacted OnStar that Moseley’s vehicle was tracked down to the Hudson Bridge – where his body was subsequently found with a reported gunshot wound, according to TMZ.

Prosecutor: 3 cops in Floyd killing 'chose to do nothing'

A federal prosecutor says three Minneapolis police officers charged with violating George Floyd’s civil rights sat by and “chose to do nothing” as Floyd pleaded for air and then went silent

Three Minneapolis police officers charged with violating George Floyd’s civil rights sat by and “chose to do nothing” as Floyd pleaded for air and then went silent, a federal prosecutor said Tuesday at the start of closing arguments in their trial.

Prosecutor Manda Sertich singled out each former officer — Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane — as the state wrapped up its monthlong case.

Thao stared directly at Officer Derek Chauvin as Chauvin knelt on Floyd's neck for 9 1/2 minutes, Sertich said, noting that Thao also ignored bystanders’ pleas to help a man who was dying “right before their eyes. She said Kueng casually picked gravel from the police SUV’s tire as Chauvin “mocked George Floyd’s pleas by saying it took a heck of a lot of oxygen to keep talking.” And Lane’s remarks showed that he knew Floyd was in distress but “he did nothing to give Mr. Floyd the medical aid he knew Mr. Floyd so desperately needed,” the prosecutor said.

China sanctions Raytheon, Lockheed over Taiwan deal

China said Monday it will impose new sanctions on U.S. defense contractors Raytheon Technologies and Lockheed Martin due to their arms sales to Taiwan, stepping up a feud with Washington over security and Beijing’s strategic ambitions.

Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin announced the move at a daily press briefing, citing a newly passed Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law that took effect in 2021. It was in response to a $100 million deal approved by the U.S. for maintenance of Taiwan’s missile defense systems by the two companies.

“China once again urges the U.S. government and relevant parties to … stop arms sales to Taiwan and sever military ties with Taiwan,” Wang said.

“China will continue to take all necessary measures to firmly safeguard its sovereignty and security interests in accordance with the development of the situation,” he said without giving any details.
