remembering as a kid and seeing him on TV in the 70s and asked "why does he wave his head around like that?" and pop said "because he can't see a fucking thing" and ma says "oh stop….I don't believe that" : so my mom was a conspiracy theorist, maybe?
and here the whole time I was thinking she meant that he wasn't waving his head around because he had no sense of up and down, and side to see, but for some other reason…..but she suspected he wasn't really blind!!! …and maybe they talked about it after I was sent to bed…… Too bad I can't ask anymore.
