Trump's TRUTH Social launches at the top of the App Store, but no one can get in

Donald Trump's media group released its TRUTH Social iOS app today in the U.S., but a scan of the app's API using publicly available tools revealed that it already closed itself to registrations (also, the scan showed that its "proprietary account registration microservice" is named"Pepe,"which is also the name of a meme with racist connotations).

He needs to blow his nose instead of swallowing his snot and take some Tylenol.
In truth, it's probably not his choice as to where the mucus flows, but the Tylenol does help.
If Truth Social would just give regular updates as to what they were doing and when they think the wait list is going to be processed, a lot of the criticism would evaporate.
I'm certain they are trying to ramp up capacity in their server side operations before letting in thousands of new users, but a hint of a timeline here or there would yield a lot better PR.
