Dear 8kun Diary
So far this morning I have had a male fox strut through the yard, just as pretty as you please. Then soon after that, 5 Coyotes walked up to rear of house. Went out and began firing at them. They bolted up the field, into the woods. Just took the dogs out and let me tell you, these 2 dogs smelled those outdoor critters and neither are none to happy. They smelled them in the yard and my male pitty kept staring up the hill to the woods. He was not happy I made them come back in so soon.
As the Ohio River lowers, the wildlife is moving across creek, where they were prevented from for the last few days. The river will be going back up tomorrow and we will, again, get a new set of stranded animals. This time of year is always an interesting time. All part of the greatness of owning property deep in the woods.
This all after I had the clear large brush and whole long dead trees off of my drive by the creek.
