In SD, Gov. Krista Noem signed legislation about competitive sports logically based on birth certificate gender ID.

But the trans activists - and those who manipulate and use them - are way ahead of her.

South Dakota press release:

Gov. Noem Announces Fairness in Girls’ Sports Legislation (not dated but other news sites place signing on 2/3/22).

“Only female athletes, based on their biological sex, shall participate in any team, sport, or athletic event designated as being for females, women, or girls,” the legislation reads. The legislation describes“biological sex”as “the sex listed on the student'sofficial birth certificateissued at or near the time of the athlete’s birth.”

But those who are hell bent on destroying America - if allowed - are well ahead of would-be protectors* like Governor Noem:

• there is more to the story than media allowed when Noem declined to sign the first draft of legislation which she explained was unenforceable. She executed Executive Orders instead until this legislation could get in shape, pass state legislature, and come before her to sign - which it did, and she did, earlier this month.)

But six months earlier, on June 16, 2021, the American Medical Assocation declared::

"Sex should be removed as a legal designation on the public part of birth certificates,the American Medical Association (AMA) said Monday."

…[and] "48 states(Tennessee and Ohio are the exceptions)and the District of Columbia allow people to amend their sex designation on their birth certificateto reflect their gender identities," [and]

"10 states allow for a gender-neutral designation, usually "X," on birth certificates."

So, if activists continue to succeed,looking to birth certificatesin most,, if not all, states, will soonnot be a reliable source of a child's gender at birth.
