anon saw an ad today for a monitoring package, while doing protocol research earlier. LOVED that in the ad they mentioned that they have a "master/slave" set up. not bowing down to the "PC" gods, lower-g.

anon was thinking of setting a software shop up; two lines of questioning would be a) write an algorithm to determine how many packets it would take to send an arbitrary amount of bytes, if each packet size doubled (or similar fairly simple algorithm).
