A cargo ship owned by a Japanese firm was hit by a missile off the coast of Ukraine in the Black Sea on Friday, injuring one crew member, the marine transportation firm in western Japan said Saturday.
The Panamanian-registered cargo ship Namura Queen was damaged and one of the 20 Filipino crew sustained a nonlife threatening injury to his shoulder, according to the firm based in Imabari, Ehime Prefecture.

No shit. You can't be immune from prosecution no matter what bullshit contract you signed. It'd be akin to making someone sign a contract before they enter your house that you are not liable for anything bad happening to them within the four walls of your home, and then once they enter you shoot them in the skull. Murder laws, firearm laws, and malice laws supersede the immunity bullshit you made the person sign before you shot them. It's like all those years ago when the Ukrainians said the Russians shot down the Malaysia Airlines flight full of Dutch people aboard. But it was apparent the ones who really shot it down were Ukrainians so the story just disappeared out of the news.
