When you said “I’m strangely closer to the board than my own family” the exact same thing went through my head 10 minutes before reading your post.

 

Although I had an interesting experience last night:

 

I bought these new water filters for fridge, I could not get it in for 3-4 weeks, it just wouldnt connect in the line.

 

My Dad taught me all my mechanical and problem solving abilities, he taught all of us.

 

I was so freaking frustrated I yelled out “Dad I need your help, show me how to do this”, i even reverted back to when I was little “daddy I need your help!”.

 

My Dad was really the man. He loved, taught and supported 10 children, he didnt fuck off and he never let is fuck off. I miss him a lot!

 

Well when I shouted “daddy I need your help”, i got the idea to take a hammer and slightly pound the filter into thd hole to connect with the line!

 

It worked after a few taps. I Opened the fridge door and the filter light had turned green. I said holy shit. “Thanks Daddy”!

 

I miss my Mom amd Dad they kept our family loving each other. Theres not much of that left since covid (plus they are lefties that hate Trump).

 

Just a witness if you call in earnest and love, you may get an answet.
