I think Vindmann was put in place to monitor any POTUS communications with Ukraine. If any alarm bells went off wrt Trump honing in on the real goings on in the Ukraine, Vindmann reported immediately to Ciaramella.

My spitball is POTUS designed the, "Perfect Call" to use phrases that would flush Vindmann. I don't think Vindmann knows more of the chain of command than Ciaramella, so it was safe to throw him out to the impeachment committee, but Ciaramella must have been able to take a big chunk of the cabal leadership if he fucked up in the hearings, thus Ciaramella was sent to ground.

This isn't over for Vindmann, I don't think. As a self-proclaimed party of interest for the Ukrainian Minister of Defense he should be front and center on invasion coverage. Don't know if he's out there running his mouth or if he's been shut up. Vindmann would take down Ciaramella to save his own fat ass, IMO.

I don't think it can be discounted that the new German Secretary of State equivalent is a younger Greens women. I have seen articles in German of her popping off about standing up to Putin. Tough chick, act. Could be a Ardern wannabe type, not sure.

Anyway she was in Moscow a month or so ago to meet Lavrov. Haven't heard a thing about that meeting, but shit went pear-shaped after that, IIRC.

Possibility that she got rolled by Lavrov, and/or she doesn't have the mental prowess to operate at Lavrov's level. Saying that because there are issues with Greens leaders and educational background from some reports I've seen. Greens really big on no fossil fuels, so they may be playing to that demographic. Shit won't get done if they go there too deeply, though, IMO.

We could be looking at the BND going behind the new government's back, here. I will say that the coverage I saw in BILD the day of invasion was definitely shock, and BILD is generally a solid outfit in that regard. Might very well be the boys who know what they're doin in Germany have to circumvent the new administration on the QT to get the situation under control. Again, just a SWAG on my part.
