China is Unimpressed

>Posted on February 26, 2022 by VD

The imperial US rhetoric attempting to paint Vladimir Putin as the Hitlerist of all the Hitlers that ever lived does not appear to be impressing China. Just as it is failing to convince anyone outside of the Anglo-European globohomo-controlled government-media order:

Since dramatic changes took place in Ukraine, the US, which had repeatedly promised to protect Kiev at critical moments and continued to “add fuel to the fire” of the situation, has once again come into the spotlight. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a video speech complained that Western countries have abandoned Ukraine and left it to defend itself alone. Some Western netizens even asked: Where has the US been which provoked the war and said it “stands with Ukraine?”

However, has the US really disappeared? On the contrary, it is quite busy gaining more “strategic interests” from the flames of war in Ukraine. The latest remarks by the US on the Ukraine situation released by the White House have underlined two points: First, turning Russia into “a pariah on the international stage” through sanctions and other measures; second, NATO has been “more united and more determined than ever” and this is “good news.”

As for Ukraine, which Washington uses as a pawn, in addition to reiterating that the US wouldn’t send troops there, Washington only simply said it “will support the Ukrainian people as they defend their country,” and “will provide humanitarian relief to ease their suffering.” Washington has once again displayed its selfishness and hypocrisy to the world. People have seen that after the US pushed Ukraine into the fire, it stood aside, pretending to care about the country and saying “I support you, keep fighting!”

It is fair to say the evolution of the situation in Ukraine until today is a geopolitical tragedy. From the very beginning, it’s a bitter result of the US’ strategic selfishness and shortsightedness. As early as 1998 when the US Senate approved NATO’s eastward expansion plan, the late senior US diplomat George Kennan had foreseen today’s tragedy. He said then, “This expansion would make the Founding Fathers of this country turn over in their graves.”

The US often talks about humanity, justice and morality, but what it really does is calculating interests. Washington’s strategic selfishness and hypocrisy have been laid bare again and again in international political practices. Reports indicate that at least 37 million people have been displaced in and from Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, the Philippines, Libya and Syria as a direct result of the wars fought by the US since September 11, 2001. There is even a saying that wherever the US “intervenes,” conflicts, chaos and terrorism will appear.

US’ real strategic color of selfishness, hypocrisy revealed in Ukraine crisis, Global Times, 25 February 2022

The Chinese leadership knows perfectly well precisely who, and what, is responsible for the current Russo-Ukrainian war. Notice how the official Chinese English-language mouthpiece for the CCP is very careful not to attack the American people, but focuses entirely on “the US” and “Washington”. They clearly understand the difference between the nation and The Empire That Never Ended which rules over it.

Murder of Congressman Ryan

Congressman Leo Ryan was shot and killed on Jones's orders as he and others attempted to leave Jonestown in November 1978.

In November 1978, Congressman Ryan led a fact-finding mission to Jonestown to investigate allegations of human-rights abuses.[213] His delegation included relatives of Temple members, an NBC camera crew, and reporters for several newspapers.[214] The group arrived in the Guyanese capital of Georgetown on November 15.[213]

Two days later, they traveled by airplane to Port Kaituma, then were transported to Jonestown in a tractor transporter.[215] Jones hosted a reception for the delegation that evening at the central pavilion in Jonestown, during which Temple member Vernon Gosney passed a note meant for Ryan to NBC reporter Don Harris, requesting assistance for himself and another Temple member, Monica Bagby, in leaving the settlement. Tensions began to rise as news spread through the community that some members were attempting to leave. Ryan's delegation left hurriedly the afternoon of November 18, after Temple member Don Sly attacked the congressman with a knife, though the attack was thwarted.[216] Ryan and his delegation managed to take along fifteen Temple members who had expressed a wish to leave,[217] and Jones made no attempt to prevent their departure at that time.[218]

As members of Ryan's delegation boarded two planes at the Port Kaituma airstrip, Jones's armed guards, called the "Red Brigade" – led by Joe Wilson, Thomas Kice Sr. and Ronnie Dennis – arrived on a tractor and trailer and began shooting at them.[219] The gunmen killed Ryan and four others near a Guyana Airways Twin Otter aircraft.[220] At the same time, one of the supposed defectors, Larry Layton, drew a weapon and began firing on members of the party inside the other plane, a Cessna, which included Gosney and Bagby.[221] NBC cameraman Bob Brown was able to capture footage of the first few seconds of the shooting at the Otter, just before he himself was killed by the gunmen.[222]

The five killed at the airstrip were Ryan, Harris, Brown, San Francisco Examiner photographer Greg Robinson, and Temple member Patricia Parks.[222] Surviving the attack were future Congresswoman Jackie Speier, a Ryan staff member; Richard Dwyer, Deputy Chief of Mission from the U.S. Embassy in Georgetown; Bob Flick, an NBC producer; Steve Sung, an NBC sound engineer; Tim Reiterman, an Examiner reporter; Ron Javers, a Chronicle reporter; Charles Krause, a Washington Post reporter; and several defecting Temple members. They escaped into the jungle to avoid being killed.[222]

By His Grace

You've got to try, for the kingdom

You've got to try, for the kingdom

On high, you've got to try

By His grace, by His grace

You've got to live your religion

Deep inside, when you try

For the kingdom on high

By His grace, by His grace

Open your mind to the wisdom

When you try for the kingdom, on high

By His grace, by His grace

Open your heart to the wisdom

In your mind when you try

For the kingdom on high

By His grace, by His grace

One day at a time, you got to try

Open your eye, it will come

By and by, when you try

By His grace, by His grace

Be Thou My Vision

Be Thou my vision, oh Lord of my heart

Nought be all else to me, save that Thy art

Thou my best thought in the day and the night

Waking or sleeping, Thou presence my light

Be Thou my wisdom, be Thou my true word

I ever with Thee and Thou with me Lord

Thou my great Father and I Thy true son

Thou in me dwelling and I with Thee one

Be Thou my breastplate, my sword for the fight

Be Thou my armour and be Thou my might

Thou my soul shelter, and Thy my high tower

Raise Thou me heavenwards, oh power of my power

Riches I need not, nor man's empty praise

Thou mine inheritance through all of my days

Thou and Thou only though first in my heart

High king of heaven my treasure Thou art

Oh high king of heaven, when battle is done

Grant heaven's joy to me, bright heaven sun

Christ of my own heart, whatever befall

Still be my vision, though ruler of all

Da, da, da, da, da, etc.

Tweedle dee Dum & Tweedle dee Dee

They’re throwing knives into the tree

Two big bags of dead man’s bones

Got their noses to the grindstones

Living in the Land of Nod

Trustin’ their fate

to the Hands of God

They pass by so silently

Tweedle dee Dum and Tweedle dee Dee

Well, they’re going to the country they’re gonna retire

They’re taking a street car named Desire

Looking in the window with the pecan pie

Lot of things they’d like they would never buy

Neither one gonna turn and run

They’re making a voyage to the sun

“His Master’s voice is calling me”

Says Tweedle-dee Dum

to Tweedle-dee Dee

Tweedle-dee Dee and Tweedle dee Dum

All that and more and then some

They walk among the stately trees

They know the secrets of the breeze

Tweedle-dee Dum said to Tweedle dee Dee

“Your presence is obnoxious to me”

They’re like babies sittin’ on a woman’s knee

Tweedle-dee Dum and Tweedle-dee Dee

Well, the rain beating down on my window pane

I got love for you and it’s all in vain

Brains in the pot, they’re beginning to boil

They’re dripping with garlic and olive oil

Tweedle-dee De

he’s on his hands and his knees

Saying, “Throw me somethin’, Mister, please”

“What’s good for you is good for me”

Says Tweedle dee Dum to Tweedle dee Dee

Well, they’re living in a happy harmony

Tweedle-dee Dum and Tweedle-dee Dee

They’re one day older and a dollar short

They’ve got a parade permit and a police escort

They’re lying low and they’re makin’ hay

They seem determined to go all the way

They run a brick-and-tile company

Tweedle dee Dum and Tweedle dee Dee

Well a childish dream is a deathless need

And a noble truth is a sacred dream

My pretty baby, she’s lookin’ around

She’s wearin’ a multi-thousand dollar gown

Tweedle dee Dee is a lowdown, sorry old man

Tweedle dee Dum, he’ll stab you where you stand

‘I’ve had too much of your company’

Says Tweedle dee Dum to Tweedle dee Dee
