In "Devastating" Move, US Weighs Sanctions On Russia's Central Bank As Germany Backs "Targeted" Removal Of Russia From SWIFT

Following a full-court press by western nations, the handful of European holdouts - those most reliant on Russian energy supplies and continued Russian capital flows, such as Germany, Hungary, Italy and Cyprus - who have been adverse to expelling Russia from the SWIFT electronic payment-messaging system, are one by one folding on their objections.

Overnight, Italy joined the growing consensus seeking to kick Russia out of the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication global banking system to punish it for the invasion of Ukraine as the European Union weighs up the impact of such an action. Also on Saturday, Poland's prime minister said he had spoken again with his Hungarian counterpart, Viktor Orban, who had assured him of Budapest's support for far-reaching sanctions against Russia.

"I talked today again with Prime Minister of Hungary V. (Victor – PAP) Orban. Once again he assured me of support for far-reaching sanctions directed towards Russia. Also including blocking the SWIFT system," Mateusz Morawiecki wrote on Twitter.

Deputy Foreign Minister Pawel Jabłoński also said on Saturday he had spoken to Hungarian Ambassador Orsolya Zsuzsanna Kovacs and that "Hungary will not block any sanctions against Russia, also including concerning the SWIFT system."

Meanwhile, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Saturday that Cyprus, which it was thought may have held out against the move, had confirmed it would not block the decision to withdraw Russia from SWIFT.

How the Federal Government Has Turned Hospitals into Death Chambers

In the video below, Dr. Peterson Pierre, M.D., confirms what Minnesota State Senator and Dr. Scott Jensen, M.D., revealed. Senator Jensen explains that hospital administrations have an incentive to diagnose and treat a person for COVID-19. The system is financially skewed toward diagnosing and treating COVID-19 even though the patient may not actually be ill from COVID-19. The patients may be in the hospital for an entirely different reason, but if they test positive for COVID-19 or they are diagnosed as having COVID-19 then the hospital hits the financial jackpot and can begin raking in the financial windfall from the federal government through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).

For example, a hospital is reimbursed $5,000 for ordinary pneumonia under Medicare. But under the CARES Act, the hospital can charge the federal government $13,000 if that same person tests positive for COVID-19 or is diagnosed as having COVID-19. Although the patient is being treated for pneumonia, he is put on the COVID-19 billing rolls. If the patient is subsequently put on a ventilator, the payment from the federal government through the CARES Act goes up to $39,000.

Please understand that mechanical ventilation is a dangerous last-resort treatment. Studies have shown that between 66% and 86% of COVID-19 patients placed under mechanical ventilation die. One study reported that 31 of 32 (97%) mechanically ventilated COVID-19 patients died

An April 22, 2020 study published by the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) of COVID-19 patients hospitalized in New York City found the following:

Mortality rates for those who received mechanical ventilation in the 18-to-65 and older-than-65 age groups were 76.4% and 97.2%, respectively. Mortality rates for those in the 18-to-65 and older-than-65 age groups who did not receive mechanical ventilation were 1.98% and 26.6%, respectively.

Compare the 76.4% of those 18 to 25 years old COVID-19 patients who were put on mechanical ventilators and subsequently died with only 1.98% of COVID-19 hospital patients 19 to 65 years old who were not ventilated and who died. We find that the mechanical ventilators caused a 39 fold increase in deaths (+3,900%).

Mechanical ventilation is a death sentence. Doctors have known for almost 200 years that mechanical ventilation is a dangerous and damaging practice. The federal authorities knew it full well beforehand and the greedy hospitals designed their protocols accordingly. Among the 2,634 COVID-19 New York City hospital patients who were discharged or died on or before April 4, 2020, approximately 12.2% (320) of them received invasive mechanical ventilation. That represents a $12,480,000 payout to the New York City hospitals.

Michigan school superintendent admits to snooping on parents’ social media posts, contacting employers

The superintendent and a deputy of the Rochester Community Schools in Michigan monitored the social media activity of parents who were vocal against the district and also reported at least two parents to their employers and the police.

The superintendent admitted, in a court deposition, to monitoring social media and reporting parents.

The deposition was part of a lawsuit that was filed by a parent who was fired after the district reported her posts to her employer.

During the deposition, Superintendent Robert Shaner admitted that he called one parents’ employer and the Detroit Police because he was “scared” of a social media post the parent made calling for people to protest outside the homes of the school district’s officials.

The parents wanted schools to reopen.

We obtained a copy of the original complaint for you here.

Scouring social media and contacting employers of citizens over their speech is becoming an increasingly popular tactic to shut down speech.

The parent, Elena Dinverno, accuses the school district of costing her her job at Blake’s Hard Cider. According to the lawsuit, Deputy Superintendent Debra Fragomeni made the call to Blake’s, resulting in Dinverno’s termination in December 2020.

Shaner defended the monitoring of parents’ social media activity during the deposition.

“Yeah, we value the input of all parents, and we certainly want to keep our thumb on the pulse of the community, so we monitor social media very closely on all fronts and make sure we’re responsive to the community,” he said.

“Yeah, so again, I just want to be clear about the social media,” he added. “We do watch it and try to make sure we know what’s going on in our community, but that’s not the only place that we get information on social media. Believe it or not, there are parents that support what we are doing, and they often share what’s going on in social media with us as well.”

According to the lawsuit, the school district’s spokesperson Lori Grein and the public affairs specialist Amy DiCresce were assigned the role of capturing screenshots of parents’ social media comments and posts regularly. They then compiled dossiers of the screenshots, for distribution to school board members and administrators.

Dinverno’s attorneys are arguing that she was exercising her freedom of expression, which is protected by the constitution. The lawsuit is seeking future and past non-economic and economic damages and an order to stop the district from further retaliation and wrongdoing against Dinverno.

Maxwell Judge Schedules Hearing To Consider Granting New Trial For Ghislaine

It seems Ghislaine Maxwell's legal team has actually raised a credible reason for a judge to consider granting the woman known as "Jeffrey Epstein's madam" a new trial. Because the judge in her case has ordered a hearing during which a juror will be questioned about the veracity of their answers during voir dire.

According to the New York Times, Maxwell Judge Alison Nathan is trying to determine whether a juror who served on Maxwell's trial may have lied during her initial jury selection interviews and questionnaires. Judge Nathan (the same judge who presided over Maxwell's original trial, and who is currently expected to sentence Maxwell in June) said she would question the juror, who has been identified as Juror 50, under oath during a hearing set for March 8. This isn't the first time that we have discussed the possibility of the Maxwell verdict being tossed. But it's looking increasingly likely now that Judge Nathan has decided to question the juror about some very glaring inconsistencies.

Maxwell was convicted a couple of days before New Year's Eve on charges including sex trafficking and conspiracy for her role in providing a steady stream of underage girls to Epstein and his powerful coterie of friends.

Judge Nathan confirmed that the reason for the hearing was that Juror 50 had apparently made statements to the media that raised questions about his responses during voir dire.

Judge Nathan said in a brief order on Thursday that after the trial, “Juror 50 made several direct, unambiguous statements to multiple media outlets about his own experience that do not pertain to jury deliberations and that cast doubt on the accuracy of his responses during jury selection."

She said Juror 50’s statements were "clear, strong, substantial and incontrovertible evidence" that an "impropriety - namely, a false statement during jury selection - has occurred."

Judge Nathan emphasized that the potential impropriety was not that someone with a history of sexual abuse might have served on the jury.

"Rather," she wrote, "it is the potential failure to respond truthfully to questions during the jury selection process that asked for that material information so that any potential bias could be explored."

Russia warns that Biden's sanctions could cause it to drop the International Space Station on the United States

Russian leadership threatened to allow the International Space Station (ISS) to crash into the United States or one of its allies following President Joe Biden’s recently announced sanctions on Russia.

Biden issued sanctions on Russia that target the country’s “aerospace industry, including their space program,” the U.S. Sun reported.

In response to Biden’s sanctions, Dimitry Rogozin, the Director-General of Roscomos, suggested that the United States wants to “destroy our cooperation on the ISS.”

Russian leadership claimed that the United States needs to cooperate with Russia if they want to prevent the ISS from falling on the United States or Europe.

Rogozin said, “If you block cooperation with us, who will save the International Space Station (ISS) from an uncontrolled de-orbit and fall into the United States or … Europe?”

He added, “There is also the possibility of a 500-ton structure falling on India and China.”

NASA has sought to ease tensions with its Russian counterparts.

A spokesperson for the agency said, “NASA continues working with all our international partners, including the State Space Corporation Roscosmos, for the ongoing safe operations of the International Space Station.”

“The new export control measures will continue to allow US-Russia civil space cooperation,” the spokesperson added, “No changes are planned to the agency’s support for the ongoing in orbit and ground station operations.”

Brandon J. Weichert, a geopolitical and space expert, suggested that Russia has a “decade to 12-year advantage on the U.S. in the galaxies.”

Weichert said that the United States are in “no way fit” to deal with the challenges posed by Russia.

He said, “We are going to get hit very hard soon in space. It is going to be the most debilitating strike on America possibly ever. And, we may not recover from it in a timely fashion. This could be how we lose our first war on Earth is losing the war in space.”

Weichert criticized politicians and bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. for not having the foresight to ward off rivals in space exploration after the Cold War.

He said, “They thought there would never be a need for any kind of preventive security measure because we thought we would always be dominant, and we thought no one would be crazy enough to challenge us.”

Weichert added, “Here we are 30 years later, and you have Russia, China, North Korea, and even Iran showing us that it was the wrong assumption.”

Delta suspends partnership with Russian airline Aeroflot

Numerous countries have taken sanctions against airline as well.

Delta on Friday became the latest entity to sever professional ties with the Russian airline Aeroflot amid Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

Delta said in a statement on its website that it had "withdrawn [its] codeshare services operated in conjunction with Russian national airline, Aeroflot, effective immediately."

A "codeshare" is "a commercial agreement between two airlines that allows an airline to put its two-letter identification code on the flights of another airline." Delta said it had "removed our code from Aeroflot-operated services beyond Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport and removed Aeroflot's code from Delta-operated services from Los Angeles and New York-JFK."

"Accommodations will be made for customers affected by these changes," the airline noted, adding that Delta "does not operate services to Ukraine or Russia."
