Sorcha faal - seldom notable.

UNLESS confirmed by EXTERNAL sources (not links within the same SF article unless to trusted sources).

Fine to post for anons to read. But not for notables unless confirmed by another source.

This is a good practice for any iffy source.

realrawnews and all those rags that copy other peoples' stories espec wo/attribution

Sometimes 911 can get ahead of themselves too.

TO VERIFY SAUCE -

Start with the iffy source.

Then DIG for additional sauce.

If found, cite it.

(Usually, this is hard to do - why these sources are iffy.)

ALTERNATIVE:

If iffy source provides the kind of info that can be DUG ON, Call for a DIG in notables and put info in with a QUESTION MARK.

Did Putin bomb xyz site? DIG Call

Key thing is not to just notable as if it were sauced. At the bar minimum, indicate it is CONJECTURE.

Thoughts?

some news is fake because it is msm propaganda - but not everything that comes from msm is fake, some is verifiable. Also, part of the news is what the fake news is saying. but if we report on a hit piece by msm, indicating it's a hit piece is important.

other news is fake (or iffy) because it is conjecture presented with greater certainty that is warranted. that would be stuff like sorcha faal or some breaking news put out prematurely.

best sources are those which seek the truth based on verifiable information (usually verifiable because of multiple reports by legit outfits but could be because it is a court doc or a scientific report citing full details.)
