It makes no sense for Putin to take Ukraine on the basis of a USSR rebuild.
It makes no sense to watch RU begin a mid-size invasion unless a clear and present danger was at the doorstep of RU or others.
The words reaction doesn’t make sense—supporting Ukraine with hashtags and ‘muh thoughts and prayers’. If Ukraine means so much to these nations, why no physical response? WWIII kick-off? No.
Something is tickling this Anons’ undercarriage, and I think it’s the idea that Putin is going into this with an entire deck of cards—cards he slowly and patiently acquired over the past, say, decade or so.
If Putin’s motivation and actions are truly above board and for highly honorable reasons, it might behoove him to speak publicly on his thought process.
War is bad, and Putin is nobody’s fool. Even Putin recognizes the horrors of war, so this must have a basis in otherwise secondary or even “ghost” ideals.
Comms is important for Putin right now, and he might want to take advantage of the world watching.
