All over social media and television, people are talking about him. The mysterious “Ghost of Kyiv”, an ACE fighter pilot that shot down 6 Russian fighter jets over the course of just 24 hours, a practically unattainable stat.

If you were thinking this sounds too good to be true, it most certainly is.

The original video, uploaded to YouTube by Comrade_Corb, now has a disclaimer in both the title and description of the video that it was simulated in DCS World.

Digital Combat Simulator (DCS) World is a free-to-play 2008 video game in which the player can set up different scenarios where enemy combatants engage each other with an assortment of different weapons and vehicles.

The Empire, Long Divided, Must Unite

There is a good chance that the coming week will either see the culmination of the biggest and most expensive military bluff in world history, or a speed run towards Russian Empire 2.0, with Putin launching a multi-pronged assault invasion of Ukraine to take back Kiev (“the mother of Russian cities”) and the historical provinces of Novorossiya.

There is debate over which of these two scenarios will pan out. The Metaculus predictions market has given the war scenario a 50/50 probability since around mid-January, spiking to 60-70% in the past few days. This happens to coincide with the public assessments of several military analysts: Michael Kofman and Rob Lee were notably early on the ball, as were some of this blog’s commenters, e.g. Annatar. The chorus of skeptics is diverse, but includes Western journalists and Russian liberals who tend to believe Putin’s Russia is too much of a cynical kleptocracy to dare go against the West so brazenly (e.g. Oliver Carroll, Leonid Volkov); Western Russophiles who are all too aware of and disillusioned with hysterical media fabrications about Russia, and are applying faulty pattern matching (e.g. Michael Tracey); and Ukrainian activists who have spent the last eight years hyperventilating about “Russian aggression” and have been reduced to shock and disbelief now that the real thing is staring in their face.

For the record, my own position is that the war scenario was ~50% probable since early January, might be as high as 85% now, and it will likely happen soon (detailed Predictions at the end).

My reasons for these bold calls can be sorted into four major bins:

Troops Tell the Story: What we have observed over the past few months are all completely consistent with invasion planning.

Game Theory: Russia’s impossible ultimatums to NATO have pre-committed it to military operations in Ukraine.

Window of Opportunity: The economic, political, and world strategic conjuncture for permanently solving the Ukraine Question has never been as favorable since at least 2014, and may never materialize again.

The Nationalist Turn: “Gathering the Russian Lands’ is consistent with opinions and values that Putin has voiced since at least the late 2000s, with the philosophers, writers, and statesmen whom he has cited most often and enthusiastically (e.g. Ilyin, Solzhenitsyn, Denikin), and more broadly, with the “Nationalist Turn” that I have identified the Russian state as having taken from the late 2010s.

The CDC proceeds to patent all aspects of coronavirus, including the transmission of coronavirus to humans.

Nature is prohibited from being patented, meaning coronavirus was manufactured or the patents were illegal.

Because the patents were deemed legal, the CDC has full control over who is authorized to make independent inquires into the virus. Nobody else is allowed to study the virus or even develop a test kit for it.

February 2005 - Bill Clinton flies to Beijing on Epstein's private plane.

Upon returning Bill and Hillary establish the Clinton Global Initiative.

Later in 2005 President Bush urges the NIH to prepare for future pandemics.

2008 - Bush awards Fauci with the Presidential medal of freedom.

2010 - Gates claims that if we "do a really good job with vaccines, we can perhaps lower the world population by 10 to 15%"

2011 - Gates meets with Epstein numerous times in private.

In Silico ➡️ In Vitro ➡️ In Vivo

There has been some excellent work in the scientific community identifying efficacious therapeutic agents against Covid. The title of this post identifies a logical progression that many are using. First, they use computer simulations to identify potential drugs that inhibit the reproduction or infectious capability of the Covid virus (in silico). From there, the promising agents are tested with tissue cultures to identify infectious activity (in vitro). Finally, these down-selected agents go into clinical trials (in vivo).

A great example of this comes from the first paper below. It identifies various mechanisms the Covid virus uses to infect a cell and using molecular dynamic simulations tries to estimate how well various medicines disrupt these. Then, it identifies how well these agents reduce infection rates in cell cultures. Among those agents it identified were Ivermectin, an anti-parasitical, Montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist, and hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malarial.

The last step of the chain - a clinical trial - was completed in Mexico using a combination of the drugs identified: Ivermectin and Monteleukast, as well as Azithromycin and Aspirin, as shown in the second paper below. The results were outstanding with a reduced the risk of hospitalization by 75% and reduced the risk of death by 81%.

The upshot: this is a very effective against Covid, one firmly based in science, and one of many protocols now available and proven effective against Covid.
