George Eliason lives there, in Donbass and has for years. I listened to the video. Apparently Zelensky is between a rock and a hard spot. Ukraine can't afford to produce it's own fuel/power because Biden's Oligarch buddies are stealing the profits/investment capital. They were making $3B/yr from the Russian pipeline, but NORD2 is cutting them out, so the people will starve. Zelensky is expected to feed and protect Ukrainians, but doesn't have the resources. If Russia were to actually "invade" and win, they would become responsible for feeding the Ukrainians. Rising oil prices makes all the oil producers happy and profitable, but the people are too poor to be able to pay for high costs fuel to do farming and baking, etc.
Zelensky probably wants Russia to beat the Neo-Nazis, while he's simultaneously trying to protect the everyday people.
