To arrive at your conclusion, you assume a lot.

However, there would seem to be two phenomena that might lead to a more satisfying and less complicated solution, 1) experiments in quantum signalling whereby unrelated subatomic particles seem to be able to communicate over vast distancesand 2) Dr Emoto's experiments with water which seem to show the effects of positive and negative stimuli.

Combined, these two would seem to support the idea that combined thought, either positive or negative, affects reality.

Actually, I have though about my ideas quite a bit and even experiment by focusing thought on positive outcomes directed at people half a world away. Anecdotally, it seems to work somewhat though, of course, there is really no way of measuring the effect.

Always thankful in prayer, as if the result is already manifest. Asking for what you do not have assumes the someone has to give it to you, like a child asking a parent for something.

When you look at the most influential religious leaders - for me, Jesus and Buddha - they both claim we have all that we need to control our reality either through prayer or meditation. We generally ignore this advice in pursuit of more tangible things.
