Scott Morrison gets help, to cover up his corruption and dodgy past, from Amazon and its billionaire owner Jeff Bezos and CEO Andy Jassy

Scott Morrison is getting help from Amazon owner and chairman Jeff Bezos and Amazon’s CEO Andy Jassy to stop selling the new book “The Jerilderie Letter Part Two: Australia’s Corrupt Prime Ministers” to try and conceal Morrison’s corruption and dodgy past that the book exposes which is in breach of the law. With the federal election due by May 2022 the last thing Morrison wants is his corruption being an election issue which the book will help make an election issue if it gets some sales traction before the election.

Scott Morrison’s fingerprints are all over Amazon’s decision to stop selling my new book only a few hours after they started selling it on Tuesday (22/2/22). This would put Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Amazon in breach of Australian common law in relation to the implied freedom of political communication as per the 1997 High Court of Australia judgment Lange v ABC. The reason is that it is blatantly obvious the book is communication with voters about government corruption only a few months before a federal election which is protected communication.

The key evidence against Morrison is firstly, Morrison has a history of manipulating and silencing the media, and secondly, Amazon are refusing to answer questions, as per the below email to the media division, even after they initially responded to my complaint on Twitter.

Scott Morrison has spent the last few weeks attacking the Labor Party and their leader Anthony Albanese on national security and leadership issues which has kept corruption issues out of the public eye. But that has failed going by Tuesday’s poll (22/2/22) showing “voters cut support for Scott Morrison” over the last couple of weeks. So, the last thing Morrison wants is to be fighting an election with government corruption issues being front and centre which the book does as it is totally focused on corruption which would be a motivator for Morrison’s office approaching Amazon to undermine the sale of the book.

The same routine happened with Amazon when I published my second book “Australia’s Paedophile Protection Racket” in September 2020. That book was for sale on Amazon for about 3 days over a weekend when Amazon pulled it from sale on the following Monday for a few days. I have never received a complaint about the book, and it has been on sale since although Amazon has done strange things a few times. Both books have a picture of Scott Morrison on the front cover which is why Morrison would have to be the number one suspect and then add Morrison’s history with the media and Amazon’s refusal to respond then I have a strong circumstantial case against Morrison.

The book went up on Amazon on Monday the 21st of February for pre-orders as it had a publication date of the 28th of February. I published an article late on the Monday night to promote it. (Click here to see) Sales started going well and it reached number 28 in book sales the following morning and in a number of categories it was higher such as Law where it was number 1 as per the below picture.

In land of flooding rains, we still don’t give our biggest river system the care it needs

The two agencies charged with protecting our water lack the will and expertise to properly manage the market in water trading in the Murray-Darling Basin. A regulator with the powers and tools of ASIC is needed to investigate and control what has become a multibillion-dollar financial market, write Scott Hamilton and Stuart Kells.

Just over 12 months ago, Australian Competition Consumer and Commission deputy Mick Keogh dropped a 700-page doorstopper on Treasurer Josh Frydenberg’s desk. The report of the ACCC inquiry into Australia’s $26 billion water market had taken 19 months to produce. It contains 29 recommendations aimed at repairing Australia’s most important natural resource market.

The final report was damning. One of the key findings: there were ‘scant rules governing the conduct of market participants, and no particular body to oversee trading activities in fair and efficient markets.’

Keogh told a group of farmers at the Shepparton golf club on April 29, 2021 that there is ‘minimal regulation of water market intermediaries, resulting in irrigator confusion and conflicts of interest.’ Bad behaviour such as insider trading and market manipulation ‘are not adequately regulated.’

Water barons and insider traders

The ACCC concurred with our own findings (in our new book Sold Down the River) on how water barons and global water traders had extracted more than $100 million a year out of the Basin. Page 190 of the ACCC report explains, for example, ‘Three of the large investors had agribusiness arms and were able to leverage knowledge of irrigated agriculture from their groups’ respective agribusiness portfolios.’

The ACCC identified examples of active and creative ‘arbitrage’ trading (buy low, sell high):

Nationwide Operation Molto closes with the removal of 51 children from harm in Australia

More than 100 Australians have been charged with over 1000 child abuse-related offences under a global operation, which has now been finalised

Operation Molto, coordinated by the AFP-led Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE), working together with police from every state and territory in Australia, removed 51 children from harm after identifying alleged offenders across the country.

The operation started in 2019, when the ACCCE received intelligence from New Zealand Te Tari Taiwhenua Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) showing thousands of offenders were using a cloud storage platform to share abhorrent child material abuse online.

Known globally as Operation H, the multinational law enforcement effort has resulted in 153 children being removed from harm, including; 79 in the United Kingdom, 51 children in Australia, 12 in Canada, six in New Zealand, four in the United States and one child in Europe. Operation H has now been finalised.

In Australia, some of the alleged offenders, who are also accused of producing their own child abuse material online, were in possession of material that was produced by a man arrested by the AFP in 2015 under Operation Niro, which resulted in the dismantling of an international organised pedophile syndicate. The material was classified as the most abhorrent produced.

Police from every state and territory in Australia executed 158 search warrants in Australia, charging 117 men with 1248 charges and removing 51 children from harm.

AFP Assistant Commissioner Lesa Gale said the hard-work, diligence and co-operation of police across every state and territory should be recognised.

"The work of police across Australia in rescuing these children shows that victims remain front of mind for law enforcement,'' Assistant Commissioner Gale said.

"Viewing, distributing or producing child abuse material is a horrific crime. Children are not commodities and the AFP and its partner agencies work around-the-clock to identify and prosecute offenders.

"The success of Operation Molto demonstrates the importance of partnerships for law enforcement, at a national level here in Australia, but also at an international level, with our colleagues in New Zealand and around the world."

US Senate Republicans Release Video Announcing “We Stand With Ukraine” – Ignore Stolen 2020 Presidential Election

The Republicans in the US Senate released an advertisement showing a small Ukrainian boy talking about his country and how his daddy may even fight. These Senators show that they are willing to fight for Ukraine but when the 2020 Presidential Election was stolen they hid like cowards.

The Republicans in the US Senate released a video sharing that they stand with Ukraine. They show a small boy saying his daddy may fight, then a woman crying. Then they share some fighting in Ukraine with the Mainstream Media announcing how the people of Ukraine are fighting the evil Russians. Then Senators Portman, Rubio, Romney and others share their thoughts.

Senator Rounds from South Dakota says, “The American people understand freedom and they understand what it means to defend their country.”

It’s a moving video.

The US Republican Senators like Romney are happy to stand with George Soros and fight with Ukraine for their freedom.

But when the US Election is stolen from President Trump, when the current Administration makes every move that helps China and hurts the US, when a corrupt DOJ puts Americans in jail for months without court dates on bogus charges, when the media claims all Trump supporters are violent, these Republican Senators are silent.

Whistleblower Sues Delaware Over Election Laws That Unconstitutionally Extend Voting Time

An election integrity group is representing a state government whistleblower who claims in a new lawsuit that Delaware is playing fast and loose with state election laws by enforcing statutes that violate the state’s constitution.

The Delaware General Assembly approved a law in 2019 that allows early voting in person at least 10 days before the day of a general election. The Delaware State Constitution stipulates that the general election must be held on one specific day only.

A Delaware statute also allows registrants to apply to the Department of Elections for something called “permanent absentee status,” even though the state constitution only allows absentee voting with strict restrictions on eligibility.

This law violates the constitution because it grants an individual the eligibility to vote by absentee ballot in perpetuity, without consideration of the applicant’s eligibility in each subsequent election, according to Michael Mennella, an inspector of elections who says he’s being forced to choose between enforcing the Constitution of Delaware or the unconstitutional statutes.

Mennella, a registered voter and resident of Newark, has served as an inspector of elections for the Delaware Department of Elections in at least eight elections during the past five to six years, according to court documents.

“Mennella is responsible for overseeing the election at his assigned polling place and administering the election in accordance with the Delaware Constitution, statutes, and other laws,” the documents read. “Mr. Mennella plans to serve as an inspector of elections at the 2022 General Election and at other future elections.”

Mennella stated in court documents that “when a Delaware statute conflicts with the Constitution of Delaware, the Constitution controls,” citing case law from 1925.

Having to enforce the constitutionally objectionable statutes would “harm Plaintiff Mennella because they require him to violate the oath he must take as an inspector of elections, his duties, and the Constitution of Delaware, and risk severe penalties and even prison time.”

The legal complaint (pdf) in the case, Mennella v. Albence, court file 2022-0179, was filed on Feb. 24 with the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware. The lead defendant is Anthony Albence, who’s being sued in his official capacity as the state election commissioner. Jane Brady of Brady Legal Group is serving as local counsel in the lawsuit.

China is Ukraine’s only hope to ‘stop Putin’ from progressing destructive invasion amid widespread bombing

Peter Dutton has warned that only China can stand in the way of Vladimir Putin now as Russian forces continue their grisly invasion of Ukraine.

Defence Minister Peter Dutton has called on Beijing to pressure Russia to end its brutal invasion of Ukraine, adding that “only China” can stop Vladimir Putin.

China has steadfastly rejected calls to join the international sanction effort as well as refusing to condemn the attacks on Ukraine.

Beijing has even doubled down on the relationship in recent weeks, signing a “no limits” treaty with Moscow and easing trade restrictions.

However, Mr Dutton said China was Ukraine’s only hope for preventing Mr Putin taking full control of the country.

House Dems Block Investigation Into Dem Senate Candidate

Democratic leadership in the House is shutting down an investigation into illegal use of taxpayer funds by Rep. Val Demings (D., Fla.), who was caught abusing mailing privileges as she runs in a high-profile statewide race.

The Washington Free Beacon has learned that the bipartisan House Communications Standards Commission last month opened an investigation into Demings following a complaint that she sent a 12-page, campaign-style mailer to Floridians outside her district. The Democratic chairwoman of the commission, Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (Pa.), told her Republican colleagues in a letter obtained by the Free Beacon that she does "not believe that further inquiry is warranted" and on Tuesday will vote against investigating the matter further. Her vote against further action will effectively end the investigation.

Following the commission's initial investigation of the complaint, Demings in a three-page letter from attorneys at Elias Law Group, obtained by the Free Beacon, admitted that the mailings went outside her district. The firm was founded by longtime Democratic operative Marc Elias. Scanlon's campaign also employed Elias for "legal services," having paid his previous law firm thousands of dollars since 2019.

"This is just the latest example of Democrats twisting rules, process, and precedent to cover up the violation of a member," a senior congressional aide with knowledge of the matter told the Free Beacon. "On top of that, the involvement of a partisan attorney like Marc Elias, who simultaneously represents the chair of the Commission, only further raises issues of a conflict of interest. This was a valid complaint filed with the Commission and a clear-cut violation of the rules, yet the Democrat members of the Commission are not only moving towards dismissing the complaint but are actively blocking any attempts to further look into the matter."

Demings's attorneys blamed the private vendor in charge of the mailing for the violation and alleged that their client did not violate federal law because the mailing was not "targeted." Members of Congress are only allowed to send mailers free of charge to residents within their district regarding "matters of public concern and Congressional actions," a practice known as "franking."

Republicans on the commission, such as Rep. Kat Cammack (Fla.), do not believe the matter has been investigated thoroughly. In a letter to Scanlon, Cammack insisted that more information on the alleged mistake is required.

"Here, even though the Member is a candidate for statewide office, she appears to have engaged in little to no oversight of her vendor's operations, explaining that she was so unaware of its operations that she neither reviewed nor approved final mailing lists to ensure compliance, did not know and did not inquire concerning the vendor's mailing practices, and was overall so uninformed about the process that she did not know a violation had occurred" until the complaint was filed, Cammack wrote in her letter.

Demings's campaign for Senate has from the onset been marred by allegations of her using her taxpayer-funded office to boost an uphill bid for Senate. The Free Beacon reported that Demings violated congressional ethics the day she launched her Senate campaign by using her government Twitter account to build support for her campaign account.

Demings is expected to handily win her primary battle to earn the Democratic nomination to challenge Rubio in the fall. While she has raised millions of dollars since announcing her candidacy in June of last year, she is not expected to win the race.

Demings did not respond to a request for comment.

Biden to Rally Lawmakers Around Efforts to “End Cancer as We Know It” in SOTU Speech

Joey is going to cure cancer.

Joe Biden is expected to rally GOP and Dem lawmakers around efforts to “end cancer as we know it” in Tuesday night’s SOTU speech.

Axios reported:

President Joe Biden plans to use tonight’s State of the Union address to try to rally Democrats and Republicans around efforts to “end cancer as we know it.”

Why it matters: This unity agenda comes weeks after the announcement of a relaunch of Biden’s cancer moonshot initiative, during which he called for a “whole of government approach” aimed at decreasing the death rate from cancer by at least 50% over the next 25 years.

Biden during his presidential campaign pledged to cure cancer, though health experts were skeptical he could make good on the pledge.

The new effort comes at a time when it’s increasingly hard for Democrats and Republicans to find common ground.

Driving the news: In his State of the Union Address, Biden will provide updates on work by the “Cancer Cabinet” agencies and departments which have been putting together the agenda for the Administration’s approach to the Cancer Moonshot, White House officials said.

Biden is also expected to talk about NATO, Putin, his Climate Change agenda, inflation, supply chain and more.

Pelosi Claims Americans Have a Low Opinion of Joe Biden Because They are Ignorant

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Americans have a low opinion of Joe Biden because they are ignorant.

Inflation is at a 40-year high, gas prices are soaring, Putin invaded Ukraine, the supply chain crisis still hasn’t been resolved and a record number of Americans quit their jobs last fall.

Biden’s abysmal poll numbers show the overwhelming majority of Americans are deeply pessimistic about the economy.

According to Pelosi, Americans don’t like Joe Biden because they are ignorant and need to be told how great Biden is – by Joe Biden himself.

“For people to appreciate what the president has done…they have to know what it is,” said Pelosi.

Ericsson’s headquarters in Kista, Sweden

Ericsson stock dropped more than 6% in European trading and Citibank financial analysts wrote the shares risked becoming “univestable” in the wake of revelations that the telecom giant dealt with Islamic State terrorists and presided over a bribery spree in Iraq.

Meanwhile, a Swedish stock exchange said it was “in dialogue” with Ericsson as part of an ongoing investigation into whether the beleaguered company had improperly withheld information about its Iraq dealings from investors.

The fallout comes a day after the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and 30 global media partners revealed that the company had concealed years of bribery and fraud in the war-torn country and grappled with undisclosed corruption allegations in more than a dozen others.

The Ericsson List investigation showed, among other things, that Ericsson had sought permission from the terrorist group known as the Islamic State, or ISIS, to work in an ISIS-controlled city and paid to smuggle equipment into ISIS areas on a route known as the “Speedway.”

Analysts at Citibank led by Andrew Gardiner published a note Sunday evening saying the shares risked becoming “uninvestable” in the foreseeable future as a result of the revelations.

“If the reports are confirmed true, then management’s credibility and judgment will be called into question; even if they are ultimately untrue, we think it will take some time before innocence can be proven,” the Citi analysts wrote. “Either way, we expect Ericsson’s stock to be uninvestable for most investors for the foreseeable future.”

The report was cited by Bloomberg News. Citibank didn’t respond to requests for a copy of the report.

Ericsson’s dollar-denominated shares were down more than 9%, to $9.21, by mid-morning trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market trading in New York and fell 6% in European trading on Nasdaq’s Swedish exchange.

The shares have fallen more than 25% since the company made a public statement about its Iraq probe on February 15. The statement came a week after it had disclosed it had received “media inquiries” about “past compliance related matters in Iraq.” The statement was issued a day after ICIJ and its partners sent Ericsson detailed questions about its Ericsson List findings.

Dagens industri, a Swedish business publication, reported that the Nasdaq Stockholm stock exchange has had an ongoing investigation into Ericsson’s past since the February disclosures.
