<youtube was not even around back then
and even once founded, it would many many years before youtube would be able to stor and play a video of that high a resolution. Don't know if you were around back then anon. But the quality was horrendous in the early years of youtube. 360 resolution, then 480. It was a long time before they even got to 720.
