In case it interests anons on here, I spent almost 2 years living in China. Visited Taiwan several times, and I can say the two countries are nothing alike. Taiwan is much more like Korea or Japan in terms of attitudes, people, and business practices. I actually liked it better than both of those, although TBH was not in Japan long enough to give it a fair shake.

I don't see any way at all the Taiwanese would just surrender, or have any desire whatsoever to "re-integrate". They see themselves as the 'true' Chinese, and they enjoy their Western life.

If Trump is reinstated and the white-hat / patriot plan is victorious, then will they….

1. reduce any of the big brother spying apparatus

2. get rid of underground data storage sites

3. repeal the Patriot Act
