controlled opp, there isnt really a people´s party on the federal lvl in ger.
at the beginning the afd had many euro critics, with plans to reinstate the D-mark but most left over time because of extremist right wing nazi whateverthefuckyouwant.
yes, many peoples parties in smaller areas (cityparliaments) like citizen´s for x or y, even the countryparlaments (don´t know how to translate that correctly) do a better job at forming broad coalitions wich aren´t bound to the establishment.
but if you want to be in the Bundestag you gotta know ppl and/or got bloodline connections.
problem is that the important things get decided in Berlin and passed down.
the only thing theese small town parties can do is prevent a shool from closing and things like that.
