"A charter aircraft carrying two Russian foreign nationals is being held at the Yellowknife, N.W.T. airport, Transport Canada says. The department didn’t say why or for how long the aircraft, that was grounded on Tuesday, would be restricted to the airport but told Global News in an email Thursday that Transport Canada is working with Canada’s Border Services Agency to “assess the matter.” They said they are trying to find out if there has been any violation of the recently announced Notice to Airman that prohibits Russian aircraft from operating in Canadian airspace.

Ottawa officially closed up the nation’s airspace on Feb. 24 while announcing a set of sanctions against Russia as the war against Ukraine rages on. It has also shut ports to Russian vessels, sent lethal military aid to Ukraine, and asked the International Criminal Court to probe alleged war crimes by Russian forces.

Details about the identities of the Russian nationals were not provided by Transport Canada citing the Privacy Act.

“We can tell you that all travellers arriving in Canada are subject to strict screening measures and must demonstrate they meet the requirements to enter the country,” the spokesperson said."

Video is only a short clip of interview; I couldn't find a full version with English subtitles.

Bonnel: "I'm sorry to shock everyone and I'm not defending Putin…I'm just following the civilians…the Ukraine government bombed it's population"

PARIS: "French journalist Anne-Laure Bonnel was “cancelled” for showing the truth about what is happening in the Donbass. The woman was invited to the CNews channel to talk about what is happening in Ukraine, as well as about the “invasion” of Russia. However, the broadcast did not go according to plan, since Bonnel has been filming reports from Donbass since 2015. Part of the broadcast, where Bonnel shows a photo of the dead residents of the LDNR, was cut from the online recording. The hosts did not believe the evidence she presented. A fragment of the program was published on CNews on Twitter. Since then, the video has gone viral. At the same time, the social network soon hid the Twitter account from users as unwanted. Earlier it was reported that about 127 thousand refugees from Donbass arrived in Russia. The evacuation of the population of the LPR and DPR began on February 18."
