Somebody sit Wittman down with a copy of Jane's Fighting Ships and show him those would be Ticonderoga-class cruisers being decommissioned. Show him when they were built then take him to the interwebs and go through the ships' deployment histories. Likely have to do the math for him but show how far and long those ships have been run. Remind him changing an LM-2500 turbine is a hell of a lot harder than changing a spark plug
