Why is it when someone says "Planet of the Apes" I think of a totalitarian dystopia where science, logic and reason are crushed in the name of a political/social narrative, but when liberals hear "Planet of the Apes" they only think of black people????

Those who don't pay attention to science fiction movies are doomed to star as victims or complicit idiots in their own.
