Sometimes inflammation is your friend, such as in a joint or other injury, to support temporary healing.
Other times like chronic not so much.

Yup.
Swelling and stiffness should be temporary, much like the boner.
Anything that inhibits or promotes either is just bad health advise.
Big day in the garden of eatin'.
Maybe a little Iron Butterfly for the auditory senses, to go with a few other things.
Blessings to you!
Enjoy!
And for goodness sake, preserve those bugs properly with an adequate dose of thirst quenching elixir.
Compost
I must agree that the lignens are pretty tough in live oak leaves. Have a couple acres of them here.
We pick them up with a leaf mulcher, and then soak in a rain barrel of water for a day or two, and then toss on the compost pile with kitchen and garden scraps, as well as other outputs.
Turn every couple of weeks, and in about 6 months it is ready compost.
I would opine this is very poor beer management.
Fair enough.
I just prefer to recycle my beer in the old fashion way as it relates to composting.
