Just documenting a fact.
Some anon claimed days ago that the Ghislaine Maxwell thread was deleted by admin.
That's false.
That thread was archived, latest archive here.
http://web.archive.org/web/20220228040337/https://8kun.top/qresearch/res/15182965.html
BO actually locked it mid February, because quote:
"since this thread is no longer looking active, locking it for security reasons."
"to prevent pedo bear from posting, staff is locking threads that are open and very short. Post a message in meta if want it unlocked and are willing to monitor it."
It can be seen in the archive that the last real post was mid January.
And the rest is plausible. pedo bear loves to spam certain threads. When it posts in the general, people will report it. When it posts in the notables thread, people will report it. But in this thread, that no one posted in for weeks no one would care and legally 8kun is required to remove that crap within 24 hours.
That's also why basically all threads on /qrb/ are locked. Same reason.
Anyway
"Post a message in meta if want it unlocked and are willing to monitor it."
If a message was posted in meta to unlock it, please show it. It doesn't seem that this happened.
It fell off the catalog weeks later, as expected.
All of its content was archived though and can be downloaded including all pictures, therefore the thread can also get recreated if anyone wants that to happen.
Of course the question is what shall be done to such threads, at some point they will fall of the catalog. One could create an official archive board for such important threads and recreate them there, but that would be an actual archive, so the threads would be locked over there.
In here the only option would be to make it sticky, but that's not really a solution. Bumping it all the time would only work for some time. Of course it would be in theory possible to bump such threads automatically every 2 weeks despite being locked by a BV/BO posting in there, still another shill attack like the bread attack a few days ago could cause such threads to still fall of the bread even in that case and it would also not be an actual solution.
