President Trump Unloads On Former AG Barr – “Wanted To Save His Own Hide”

Former Attorney General William Barr did nothing to stop the 2020 election steal.

He told Lt. Col Tony Shaffer to stop investigating election fraud claims surrounding fraudulent ballots being shipped from New York to Pennsylvania.

Plus, a former US Attorney from Pennsylvania alleged that William Barr told him not to investigate election fraud.

Now, Barr has decided to write a book bashing 45th President Donald Trump.

He ran to the mainstream media to tout the book.

Trump has officially responded – he didn’t hold back.

Trump explained that the reason AG Barr didn’t investigate voter fraud was that he was scared of being impeached by the Democrats.

Trump said, “he wanted to save his own hide.”

Radical Wisconsin Judge Attacks Special Counsel Investigating Elections – Rules Election Investigators Misspelled a Word in an Email and “Deserving of Punitive Damages”

Last year the Wisconsin State Assembly sanctioned an investigation into 2020 election fraud. The Special Counsel (OSC) team of investigators has been attacked with lawfare since that time. They currently face 9 different lawsuits from the left intended to derail or impede the election investigation. Some involve records requests and others, including efforts by the radical Democrat WI State Attorney General Josh Kaul, are to block election investigation subpoenas. Here’s one example.

To regular Americans, the below OSC response on Dec. 4th, 2021 to a records request is perfectly fine and professional. It even includes PDF files fulfilling some of the requested records. But according to Judge Remington, the OSC email was too short, only 3 sentences. The more egregious offense was the misspelling of ONE word. On February 2nd, Dane County Circuit Judge Frank Remington found the Wisconsin OSC team to be “unconsidered” and having “irrational conduct” over this email response.

This email was just too egregious for Judge Frank Remington. He ruled: “This is the sort of Unconsidered and Irrational Conduct deserving of punitive damages” as shown below. Throughout his 52-page ruling, Frank condescendingly calls this communication the “misspelled email”. It’s hard to refer to him as a judge at this point.

This two-tier example of justice was fast-tracked for the left. It was 5 months from the original request for records to the damages ruling. This timeline is really unheard of, especially when involving records about an active investigation. The list of Frank’s punishment against OSC start on page 50, and includes $$ fines too.

The WI OSC told the court that disclosing information related to an open investigation can obviously jeopardize the entire case. They also point to laws that specifically prevent doing this. In the Dec. 4th OSC email they clearly explain this and that some information must remain secret until the investigation is over. It’s well known the investigation is short-staffed. They have evidence yet to be followed up with. Frank Remington doesn’t care, demands OSC cough up anything the lefties want. The WI OSC is appealing this crazy ruling.

The same tactics that were used in Arizona are being used against the Wisconsin State Assembly, The Assembly Office of Special Counsel (OSC), Mr. Michael Gableman, Speaker Robert Vos, and so on. Lawsuits in Arizona over records requests were used to relentlessly pound the Cyber Ninjas, the AZ Senate, conservative politicians, and others associated with investigating election fraud. The goal is twofold. Any records collected are meticulously scrutinized, especially communications, to spin a negative narrative. Secondly, the well-funded lefty lawsuits over records requests are used to slow, impede, or discredit the investigation and its team members.

WarnerMedia Sinks $350 Million Investment Into CNN+ Streaming Platform

CNN is putting its money where its woke, hysterical, "misinformation"-battling, fact checking mouth is.

According to FT, WarnerMedia has sunk $350 million in investments into the CNN+ streaming platform so that viewers have yet another platform to watch Brian Stelter gain weight offer up his "Reliable" Sources take on the news.

CNN confirmed this week that the service would be moving forward this spring and that it would cost $2.99 per month upon launch, Reuters reported.

Once the introductory rate ends, CNN will charge subscribers $5.99 per month. It's the same price as "Fox Nation", the rival streaming service run by Fox News.

$120 million of the investment into the platform is going toward recruiting "top talent for the new service", Reuters wrote.

Former NPR "All Things Considered" co-host Audie Cornish and former Fox News anchor Chris Wallace are among two names that will join CNN+. The streaming service will also offer "original series, true crime shows and food and travel" in addition to news programming, the report says.

CNN is dealing with having its image thrashed over the last few years. Recall, it was less than a month ago we pointed out the world's most popular podcaster absolutely steamrolling CNN anchors Brian Stelter and Don Lemon.

Rogan savaged CNN and its top anchors for not reporting 'honest' news, and said that the network's abysmal ratings are a reflection of a lack of trust - while more people "believe me or trust me or want to listen to me talk."

"The answer is not to silence me, the answer is [for] you to do better," said Rogan. "The answer is for you to have better arguments. When you're on television talking about how I'm taking horse paste, and you know that's not true. "He's taking horse dewormer."

"What you should have said, "How did Joe Rogan get better so quick? How come he got COVID that's killing everybody and he was better in five days, negative in five days, working out in six days?" How come that's never discussed?"

CNN notoriously knocked Rogan for taking 'horse dewormer' because ivermectin was part of his Covid-19 treatment regimen. He subsequently annihilated CNN's Sanjay Gupta over the network's lies.

As Media Focuses on Ukraine, The Covid Tyrants are Quietly Backing Down to Avoid Accountability

“The short memories of the American voters is what keeps our politicians in office.”

― Will Rogers

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is horrific. Russian president Vladimir Putin is a thug who is committing war crimes and who is killing innocent Ukrainians while endangering the people of Russia — all the while threatening nuclear war. While this war is not near American soil, because of the United States’ involvement in NATO and its relationship with Ukraine, it most certainly affects all Americans.

US sanctions on Russia have helped to drive oil prices up over 25 percent in just the last week. Also last week, Biden told the American people they need to be ready to pay for this new war without a single one of them volunteering to pay for this war.

“Defending freedom will have costs for us as well, here at home,” Biden said. “We need to be honest about that.”

These things most assuredly affect the lives of millions of Americans and this war deserves coverage in the media. And the media is certainly not skimping on providing round-the-clock coverage either.

That being said, given the track record of US media, and their tendency to deceive the American public to get them to accept wars for profit, we shouldn’t be so quick to let down our guard and unquestioningly absorb the constant barrage of information coming from them.

If the mainstream press actually cared about reporting on horrific wars, rest assured that we’d be talking about how Israel attacked the Palestinians last week, killing multiple individuals in a brutal invasion which has lasted decades.

If the mainstream press actually cared about war crimes, they would be reporting on the 23,000 airstrikes that have been launched by the US-backed coalition in Yemen that has killed over 18,000 civilians, starving hundreds of thousands more, mostly children, and displaced millions, including 20,000 children in just the last two months.

If mainstream press cared about attacks on foreign countries by outside invaders, rest assured they would have mentioned your tax dollars being used this week to bomb Somalia.

But they do not, so they did not.

Do not mistake these comparisons as some “whataboutism” as these wars are currently taking place and are equally, if not more brutal, and all of which affect Americans just like Ukraine. The above examples are to prove that the Western corporate press is able to steer the attention of citizens to certain stories, while distracting from others.

Ex-DOE sub in NYC allegedly had mom record sex acts with her son, 4

A “depraved” 33-year-old man accused of enlisting a Yonkers woman to record child-porn videos using her 4-year-old son worked at a Brooklyn elementary school, officials confirmed.

Jonathan Rivera, who is charged with production and distribution of child pornography, was a substitute paraprofessional at PS 147 in Williamsburg for a year and a half, city Department of Education officials said.

“The level of depravity alleged in the charges filed today against Mr. Rivera are nearly unfathomable,” FBI Assistant Director Michael Driscoll said in a Feb. 28 release.

Rivera was arrested Feb. 27 along with Delicia Aguirre-Orellana, 22. “At Rivera’s direction,” the Yonkers woman allegedly made video recordings of sex acts she performed on her 4-year-old child – “one of the most heinous acts imaginable,” Manhattan and Westchester prosecutors charged.

Rivera worked at the pre-K-to-5th grade Brooklyn school from January 2020 until July 2021, when “he chose not to return,” said DOE spokeswoman Sarah Casasnovas. She said Rivera “had no disciplinary history.”

He is suspended and will be fired if convicted, she said.

Rivera is charged with production of child pornography, which carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum of life. He’s also charged with receipt and distribution of child pornography, which carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 5 years in prison and a maximum of 40 years.

The mother sent the recordings to Rivera over a social-media messaging platform, a criminal complaint states.

Prosecutors say Rivera “engaged in similar conversations with other women online,” and may have used various social media platforms, including WhatsApp, Badoo, Telegram, and Facebook. Usernames of his various accounts include: Jriv3ra718, Jriv3ra11, Jaid3nrivera718, Thebrimbrothers, Jano59fifty, and Nathan, investigators said.

“We believe there may be more victims of these alleged crimes,” said Damian Williams, US Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

Anyone who may have information helpful to law enforcement is asked to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.

Hungary ‘Blocking Cooperation with Ukraine’ at EU, NATO over Anti-Hungarian Discrimination

Hungary, noted for its strong border policies, has opened its arms to Ukrainian refugees but will continue “blocking cooperation with Ukraine at every European Union and NATO forum” over the country’s treatment of its Hungarian minority, an official told Breitbart News this week.

Hungary’s national conservative prime minister, Viktor Orbán, has surprised left-liberal critics by declaring that “all refugees who come from a neighbouring country must be helped” – drawing a clear distinction between Ukrainian refugees seeking shelter in Hungary and mostly Middle Eastern and South Asian migrants from distant homelands, who it has built border barriers to guard against despite fierce opposition from the EU.

Gergely Gulyás, the minister who heads Orbán’s office, said in comments provided to Breitbart London on Thursday that “Hungary’s position has always been that refugees should be taken care of in the first safe country.”

“This was our position in the 1990s during the Yugoslav Wars, when we took care of tens of thousands of refugees. That was our position during the migration crisis, when Hungary was the fifth or sixth safe country in the conflict, and we made it clear that we were under no obligation. It is again our position now, when Hungary is the first safe country in the Ukrainian conflict stemming from the Russian attack,” he explained.

This “elementary, human, Christian” attitude towards ordinary Ukrainians has not, however, caused Hungary to soften its firm stance against the Ukrainian government’s little-reported laws discriminating against minorities.

These include not only a substantial Russian-speaking population but also some 150,000 ethnic Hungarians, cut off from Hungary proper by the shifting borders of the 20th century.

Cops Arrest 22 Sinaloa Cartel Members in Mexican State Bordering Texas

Police arrested 22 members of the Sinaloa Cartel, including a regional leader, who were operating in the Monterrey metropolitan area this week. In recent months, the border state of Nuevo Leon has become the latest front of a fierce turf war as the cartel tries to expand its territories.

The raid took place this week just north of Monterrey where agents with the Nuevo Leon State Investigations Agency (AEI) found a country-style inn where the gunmen were throwing a party, law enforcement sources revealed to Breitbart Texas. Authorities managed to arrest 22 individuals described as members of the Sinaloa Cartel. The suspects included 20 men and two women. One of the men has been identified as Jorge or “El Negro.”

The raids comes at a time when the Sinaloa Cartel is waging a fierce turf war against other criminal organizations to take control of Nuevo Leon. Cartel gunmen are linked to kidnappings, murders, and shootouts. The gunmen have also targeted street-level dealers from the Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas and others to take drug trafficking routes into Texas.

Breitbart Texas was the first outlet to report on the presence of Sinaloa Cartel in Nuevo Leon in 2021. At the time, gunmen performed kidnappings and murders in the town of Montemorelos before expanding into Monterrey.

Pandora Papers Reveal Offshore Holdings of Ukrainian President and his Inner Circle

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rode to power on pledges to clean up the Eastern European country, but the Pandora Papers reveal he and his close circle were the beneficiaries of a network of offshore companies, including some that owned expensive London property.

Key Findings

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his partners in comedy production owned a network of offshore companies related to their business based in the British Virgin Islands, Cyprus, and Belize.

Zelensky’s current chief aide, Serhiy Shefir, as well as the head of the country’s Security Service, were part of the offshore network.

Offshore companies were used by Shefir and another business partner to buy pricey London real estate.

Around the time of his 2019 election, Zelensky handed his shares in a key offshore company over to Shefir, but the two appear to have made an arrangement for Zelensky’s family to continue receiving money from the offshore.

Actor Volodymyr Zelensky stormed to the Ukrainian presidency in 2019 on a wave of public anger against the country’s political class, including previous leaders who used secret companies to stash their wealth overseas.

Now, leaked documents prove that Zelensky and his inner circle have had their own network of offshore companies. Two belonging to the president’s partners were used to buy expensive property in London.

The revelations come from documents in the Pandora Papers, millions of files from 14 offshore service providers leaked to the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and shared with partners around the world including OCCRP.

The documents show that Zelensky and his partners in a television production company, Kvartal 95, set up a network of offshore firms dating back to at least 2012, the year the company began making regular content for TV stations owned by Ihor Kolomoisky, an oligarch dogged by allegations of multi-billion-dollar fraud. The offshores were also used by Zelensky associates to purchase and own three prime properties in the center of London.

The documents also show that just before he was elected, he gifted his stake in a key offshore company, the British Virgin Islands-registered Maltex Multicapital Corp., to his business partner — soon to be his top presidential aide. And in spite of giving up his shares, the documents show that an arrangement was soon made that would allow the offshore to keep paying dividends to a company that now belongs to his wife.

Plastic sports bottles are loaded with hundreds of harmful chemicals such as insect repellent that leach into the drink

Reusable plastic sports bottles can leach hundreds of different chemical substances into water, including a range of plasticizers, endocrine disruptors and surprisingly, an insect repellent.

Researchers at University of Copenhagen, Denmark recently published their findings in the Journal of Hazardous Materials, calling for caution in the use of these products.

“We were taken aback by the large amount of chemical substances we found in water after 24 hours in the bottles. There were hundreds of substances in the water — including substances never before found in plastic, as well as substances that are potentially harmful to health.

After a dishwasher cycle, there were several thousand,” says Jan H. Christensen, Ph.D., professor of environmental analytical chemistry at the University of Copenhagen’s Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences.

Scientists used three types of reusable plastic sports bottles, split between newly purchased and bottles that had been in regular use before the experiment. Glass bottles were used as a control.

First a migration experiment was conducted. Newly purchased bottles were rinsed with tap water (which was then disposed), and then refilled with tap water and stored for 24 hours.

A second experiment placed all the bottles in the dishwasher and ran the dishwasher for 60 minutes, employing a typical dishwasher tablet, reaching temperatures of roughly 150 degrees Fahrenheit. One day after dishwashing, researchers filled the bottles with tap water and stored them for 24 hours.

Lastly, researchers flushed all the bottles with tap water and shook them up, as might occur in a quick household rinse. After flushing, the bottles were filled with tap water and stored for a day.

Samples were analyzed using liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry in attempts to identify the materials leaching into water after the aforementioned experiments.

In total, scientists found over 400 materials associated with plastics and greater than 3500 dishwashing compounds.

For newly purchased bottles 350 unique chemical compounds were identified. Of these 150 were removed after use in a dishwasher, and 80 more were removed after a flushing, but a total of 31% of compounds remained after dishwashing and additional water flushing.

For used bottles, analysis after dishwashing detected 3,436 chemical compounds. Of these roughly 2,780 were removed after flushing with water. Roughly 13% of dishwashing chemicals remained after flushing with water, while with glass bottles less than 1% remained.

Forced sterilization still legal in over 30 US states, used mainly against disabled people: new report

Forced sterilizations are chiefly used on disabled people in what's been described as 'a larger, horrifying system that prevents disabled people from making basic decisions about their lives.

A new report from the pro-abortion National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) has revealed that instead of being a decades-old obsolete horror left to the past, forced sterilization is still legal in over 30 states.

According to the report, 31 states plus Washington, D.C., allow for people to be forcibly sterilized. Most often, sterilization is used against people with disabilities, especially those who are also people of color. Sometimes, parents or guardians are complicit, but not always. And the person being sterilized isn’t always told what has been done to them until they find out on their own later.

“Linda Kay Sparkman was a 15-year-old with an intellectual disability,” the report reads. “Linda’s mother asked a judge for permission to get Linda sterilized. The judge agreed that sterilization was a good idea. No one told Linda she was going to be sterilized. The doctors told her she was getting a different operation. Linda tried to have a baby a few years later. That is when she found out that she was sterilized.”

Another story featured is that of Ashley X. Horrifyingly, Ashley’s parents successfully sought her sterilization at the age of six, through hysterectomy. As Ashley’s parents also did not want her to grow breasts or get taller, doctors also performed an operation to ensure her breasts did not grow and put her on hormones so she would remain small, like a child.

Stunningly, Ashley is not the only child to have suffered through this; other children have undergone the same treatment, which is now called the Ashley Treatment.

Not Dead Yet, a disability rights advocacy group, condemned the Ashley Treatment in a statement, pointing out that despite pushback from disability groups, the Ashley Treatment has largely been received positively. “We are saddened but not surprised by the fact that this was publicized and met with a great deal of public approval,” Diane Coleman, founder of Not Dead Yet, said at the time.

“The public is willing to sanction the murders of disabled children by their parents, so it’s hardly surprising they would rush to the support of parents and their medical partners in a matter like this.”

Coleman further added, “Ethics Committees often say they strive for diversity in their membership, but they have historically excluded representation from the disability community about whom they are making life and death decisions.”

“These sanctions that are being imposed are akin to a declaration of war but thank God it has not come to that,” Putin said on Saturday, as reported by Reuters.

He said that any country that imposes a no-fly zone over Ukraine would be involving itself in an active military conflict.

“We will immediately consider them as participants in a military conflict, and it doesn’t matter members of which organizations they are,” Putin said. “It is impossible to do it, on the very territory of Ukraine, it’s possible only from the territory of some neighboring states. But any movement in this direction will be considered by us as participation in an armed conflict.”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly called on the U.S. and NATO to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine to prevent Russia from bombing key Ukrainian targets, including its nuclear infrastructure.

Zelensky most recently urged for a U.S. no-fly zone on a call with U.S. lawmakers early Saturday morning.

However, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that alliance members are in agreement that planes and troops should not be over or in Ukraine amid its conflict with Russia.

“NATO is not part of the conflict,” Stoltenberg said. “We do not seek war, conflict with Russia. At the same time, we need to make sure there is no misunderstanding about our commitment to protect all allies.”

President Joe Biden and his administration have said repeatedly that the U.S. will not be establishing a no-fly zone over Ukraine because it would require the U.S. to send troops into the country to enforce it – an act that Biden said he’s unwilling to do.

“It would require deploying U.S. military to enforce, which would be a direct conflict — potentially a direct conflict and potentially war with Russia, which is something we are not planning to be a part of,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters during a press briefing on Monday.

Putin also said Saturday that the conflict in Ukraine was going as planned, saying, “Our army will fulfill all the tasks. I don’t doubt that at all. Everything is going to plan.”

Bennett flies to Moscow, meets with Putin about Ukraine war, Iran nuke talks

Orthodox PM makes rare trip on Shabbat to meet with Russian leader, having offered to mediate between Moscow and Kyiv; later speaks with Ukrainian President Zelensky

The source said Bennett spoke with Putin about “the situation of Israelis and the Jewish communities as a result of the conflict” and the ongoing talks in Vienna to restore the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, which Russia is a signatory to.

“The prime minister expressed the position of Israel, which is opposed to a return to the nuclear deal,” the source said.

Israel has sought an elusive middle ground in the conflict: siding with its Western allies while avoiding a rift with Moscow. Russian forces control the airspace in neighboring Syria, where Israeli planes often operate against militias affiliated with Iran; Israel sees Iran as an existential threat.

Israel has offered on several occasions to mediate talks to end the invasion. Ukrainian officials have also said they support the idea, but the initiative has not yet gone any further.

On Tuesday, Bennett said that Israel was seeking to “help quietly” while maintaining its own strategic interests. Israel has expressed its support for the Ukrainian people and has sent a shipment of 100 tons of humanitarian aid. Foreign Minister Yair Lapid condemned the invasion as a “breach of the international order.”

But Bennett has avoided calling out Putin by name, refused Ukrainian requests for military equipment, and vowed to stake out a cautious policy.

“From the beginning, the State of Israel has taken a measured and responsible approach, which allows us not only to protect our interests but also to be useful, to be a reliable player — one of the few that can communicate directly with both parties — and assist as required,” Bennett said in a Tuesday speech.

Russia and Ukraine are expected to hold a third round of talks to end hostilities on Monday, Ukrainian negotiator David Arakhamiya said in a Saturday Facebook post, without providing further details.

The first two rounds of talks on resolving the Russia-Ukraine war produced no breakthrough, though the two sides agreed to meet again.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky participated in a call with a bipartisan group of more than 280 members of Congress on Saturday morning, during which the lawmakers said he laid out ways the U.S. could help his country's fight against Russia.

Over Zoom, Zelensky requested additional airplanes, a stoppage of oil purchases from Russia and the establishment of a no-fly zone over Ukrainian airspace.

Both Democrats and Republicans lauded Zelensky after their virtual meeting and pledged to do what they could to assist Ukraine.

“Honored to hear from @ZelenskyyUa as he takes every measure to defend Ukraine from illegal Russian aggression & Putin’s indiscriminate attacks on civilians. Zelenskyy’s resilience & commitment to the people of Ukraine inspire the world. Proud to stand with you Mr. President,” the Senate Foreign Relations Committee tweeted.

Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.), who sits on the Senate Intelligence Committee, confirmed in a statement that Zelensky had asked for either a no-fly zone over Ukrainian airspace or planes for Ukraine.

“Ukraine needs airpower urgently and America should send it. Zelensky’s message is simple: ‘close the skies or give us planes.’ Let’s be clear-eyed about our options: A No-Fly Zone means sending American pilots into combat against Russian jets and air defenses — in a battle between nuclear powers that could spiral out of control quickly,” Sasse said.

“But Americans should absolutely send Ukrainians planes, helicopters, and UAVs. Let’s resupply Ukraine’s Air Force today and keep the Ghosts of Kyiv in the skies.”

A no-fly zone is instituted to stop nations from carrying out attacks over groups of people or flying in certain areas.

The Biden administration balked at declaring a no-fly zone over Ukraine, arguing that the move could easily escalate a the Russia-Ukraine conflict into a wider war.

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) also voiced support to supply Ukraine with planes.

“President Zelenskyy made a desperate plea for Eastern European countries to provide Russian-made planes to Ukraine. These planes are very much needed. And I will do all I can to help the administration to facilitate their transfer,” he said in a statement.

Several senators also noted Zelensky asked for the U.S. to stop Russian oil and gas imports to further cripple the country's economy. Russia accounts for 10 percent of the crude oil global supply, the third-largest producer behind the U.S. and Saudi Arabia.

“President @ZelenskyyUa said stopping the purchase of Russian oil and gas around the world would be one of the most powerful sanctions possible, ‘even more powerful than SWIFT,’ ” Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) tweeted.

Russia, US maintain dialogue via certain channels — Kremlin

Russian Presidential Spokesman did not disclose any details of the dialogue

Moscow and Washington are maintaining certain channels of a dialogue against the background of the current geopolitical situation, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Saturday.

"We are maintaining certain channels of a dialogue with the United States," Peskov said at a news briefing in response to a question about the current state of relations between Russia and the United States in view of the recent developments in Ukraine and the pressure of sanctions in regard to Moscow.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a televised address on February 24 that in response to a request by the heads of the Donbass republics he had made a decision to carry out a special military operation in order to protect people "who have been suffering from abuse and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years." The Russian leader stressed that Moscow had no plans of occupying Ukrainian territories.

When clarifying the unfolding developments, the Russian Defense Ministry reassured that Russian troops are not targeting Ukrainian cities, but are limited to surgically striking and incapacitating Ukrainian military infrastructure. There are no threats whatsoever to the civilian population.

Alleged Russian Spy Worked For U.S. Government News Agency

A Spanish journalist arrested on suspicion of spying for Russia recently worked for Voice of America, the United States government’s international media organization.

Pablo Gonzalez was arrested at the Poland-Ukraine border earlier this week on charges that he was secretly working for Russia’s military intelligence service, the GRU. Gonzalez, a Spanish national born in Russia, was identified as a freelance reporter for the Spanish outlets El Sixto and Publico. He has also worked as a freelance reporter for Voice of America (VOA) since at least 2020. Gonzalez helped produce a VOA segment from inside Ukraine last month, according to a Washington Free Beacon investigation.

Gonzalez’s previously unreported work could raise concerns that he used his VOA position to collect intelligence for Russia. If Gonzalez is indeed a Russian spy, it would lend credence to concerns raised by Michael Pack, who oversaw VOA during the Trump administration. Pack came under fire from Democrats when he said VOA was "a great place to put a foreign spy" given the agency’s lax security standards. VOA staffers and others in the media accused Pack of undermining the agency and putting its journalists at risk.

Poland’s internal security agency said Friday that Gonzalez was "conducting his business for Russia while taking advantage of his journalist status." The counterintelligence agency said Gonzalez collected information for Russia’s spy service during his recent stay in Poland and that he planned to continue his activities in war torn Ukraine.

Gonzalez is identified as a cameraman for a Feb. 4 Voice of America story from Dnipro, a city in eastern Ukraine. The story told of residents’ preparations for a Russian invasion of Ukraine. A reporter who worked with Gonzalez on the story cast doubt on the allegations from Polish authorities.

"The accusations against Pablo are ridiculous, I have worked with him in many places and I know he is a top-notch professional," said Ricardo Marquinia, another VOA contributor.

Gonzalez was detained two days after the VOA report by Ukrainian authorities and accused of reporting from military-controlled areas without proper accreditation, Reuters reported. He was released hours after that initial arrest.

The GRU is one of the world’s most aggressive spy agencies. It was behind the cyber attacks during the 2016 U.S. elections and is alleged to have hacked Ukrainian government websites during the current war. Reuters has reported that American intelligence officials also determined that the GRU has long operated a so-called illegals program, where undercover spies live under assumed identities in their target countries, sometimes for years.

Founded in 1942, VOA is the United States’ megaphone to the world, operating in dozens of countries that have historically stifled the free press. The United States used VOA during the Cold War to broadcast anti-Communist messages, prompting Russia and Soviet republics to jam VOA’s radio signal. Russia designated VOA as a foreign agent of the United States in 2017 in retaliation for Washington placing the same label on Russia Today.

Gonzalez reported extensively last year for VOA about the Nagorno-Karabakh war between Azerbaijan and Armenia, according to his Twitter feed and VOA’s website.

A spokeswoman for VOA said the agency is aware of Gonzalez’s arrest, and that they reported it "to all relevant security authorities." The spokeswoman said Gonzalez was a stringer—another term for a freelancer—but that he had not filed a story since July 2021. The spokeswoman declined to comment about his recent story from Ukraine.

Fourteen states sue Biden to divulge secret contacts about school board 'domestic terrorism' letter

Agencies invoke "unusual circumstances" to exceed FOIA window for turning over communications with National School Boards Association.

The Biden administration is stonewalling 14 states seeking documents preceding Attorney General Merrick Garland's controversial Oct. 4 memo directing the FBI to prosecute threats against school boards, according to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed Friday.

Garland acted in response to a Sept. 29 letter to President Biden from the National School Boards Association (NSBA), widely perceived as equating parental activism with "domestic terrorism."

While NSBA rescinded and apologized for its letter less than a month later, the fallout was severe. Nearly half its state members have left the organization or declined to renew, including Idaho and Arizona last month, according to a tracker maintained by the advocacy group Parents Defending Education.

Garland admitted in House Judiciary Committee testimony that the White House and Justice Department were in talks with NSBA for several weeks before the letter, confirming what acting Executive Director Chip Slaven told NSBA members Sept. 29. President Viola Garcia also mentioned a Sept. 14 White House meeting in an Oct. 12 memo.

And Secretary Kristi Swett told a board member Oct. 6 that Slaven had told the officers "he was writing a letter to provide information to the White House" upon request from Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, whose name is misspelled in Swett's email.

Led by Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, the 14 AGs claim they have received no response from the White House or Executive Office of the President more than four months after their Oct. 26 FOIA request demanding federal communications to or from NSBA. The White House did not answer Just the News's query seeking the status of its response to the FOIA request.

Two DOJ components, the Office of Information Policy and Civil Rights Division (CRD), acknowledged the request Dec. 17 and Jan. 5 and each assigned it a different tracking number, but have not further responded, the lawsuit claims.

Each cited "unusual circumstances" as justification for exceeding the statutory window for responding, and suggested narrowing the scope of the request. CRD implied that the states wouldn't receive a response for more than a month.

DOJ spokesperson Danielle Blevins told Just the News it couldn't provide the status of its response to the FOIA request because it's involved in litigation.

The Department of Education, by contrast, asked the states for "clarification and scope" of the request, they obliged, and the department confirmed the details Jan. 7. A department spokesperson didn't answer a request for the status of its response.

"As we’ve made clear repeatedly, the Secretary [Miguel Cardona] did not solicit a letter from NSBA," the spokesperson wrote in an email.

Ukrainian Intelligence Agents Visited Turkish-Occupied Northern Syria, Met With Militants – Report

Agents of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) had visited Turkish-occupied areas in northern Syria and met with militants backed by Ankara, Sputnik reported on March 5.

A source in military and diplomatic circles told the Russian news agency that the agents visited the areas of Afrin and Azaz on the 4th of February, around 20 days before the beginning of the Russian special operation in Ukraine. The agents were accompanied by officers from the Turkish intelligence.

“They visited the base of the Harakat Tha’rown armed group, a part of the Syrian National Army, where they met with the commanders of several pro-Turkish groups, [including] the Sultan Murad Division and the Mu’tasim Division, as well as the camps of the illegal armed forces”, the unnamed source said.

According to the source, SBU agents discussed with Turkish-backed commanders the possibility of recruiting militants into Ukraine’s territorial Defence forces.

“They agreed to organize a series of secret meetings with people concerned about the matter”, the source went on to say.

Sputnik’s information is in line with what is being reported by Syrian pro-opposition sources. On March 5, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that “hundreds” of Turkish-backed militants in northern Syria have already signed up to go fight Russian forces in Ukraine. The militants were promised a monthly salary of $2,000. However, most of them are interested in going to Ukraine just to escape and seek asylum in European Union states, according to the London-based monitoring group.

Turkey is not apparently the only side working to move militants from Syria to Ukraine. Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service also warned recently that the US is preparing to send “terrorists,” who were trained in Syria, to Ukraine.

The Russian military could attack militants preparing to leave to Ukraine on Syria’s territory, where it maintains a very large presence.

ONE DAY AFTER the Pfizer documents were released Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott is calling it quits. Elliott and the others who destroyed the economy, and forced millions to inject a dangerous experimental 'vax' can run - but they can't hide.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford is facing another high-profile resignation just months away from the provincial election as Christine Elliott, his deputy premier, announced on Friday that she's leaving politics.

CBC News broke the news of Elliott's departure late Thursday.

Elliott has served as health minister since Ford's Progressive Conservatives took office in 2018, putting her at the forefront of the government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement issued Friday morning, Elliott said she made the decision to not run in the coming provincial election after "considerable reflection and discussion" with her family.

"I sought elected office in 2006 because of my strong desire to improve the quality of life of individuals with special needs, as well as mental health challenges. I saw gaps in care and that motivated me to action," Elliott said.

Elliott says Ford asked her to stay on as health minister until the spring, and she agreed.

At a news conference Friday, she thanked Ford for the opportunity to serve as Ontario's minister of health.

"It has truly been an honour and a very great privilege, especially during a pandemic," she said.

In a statement following Elliott's announcement, Ford called her a "close, personal friend" and says she did her work as health minister "with grace, dignity, professionalism and compassion."

The premier lauded Elliott's character during Friday's news conference.

"I couldn't ask for a better person, a better friend, a leader, someone with integrity, and just an honest person," Ford said.

Chinese broadcasters to pull Premier League matches over Ukraine support: reports

Premier League Chief Executive Richard Masters said the league's TV deals with Russian entities are also under review

Chinese broadcasters reportedly won't air Premier League matches due to the league’s support of Ukraine.

Sources told the BBC Friday that Chinese rights holders have informed the Premier League they will not air matches on Saturday or Sunday in response to the league’s decision to display its support for Ukraine during those games.

"The Premier League and our clubs wholeheartedly reject Russia’s actions and will be showing support for the people of Ukraine at all matches this weekend," the league said in a statement Wednesday. "We call for peace, and our thoughts are with all those who have been impacted.

"A show of solidarity for Ukraine will be visible at all Premier League matches from Saturday (March 5) to Monday (March 7). This follows the numerous ways in which clubs have already demonstrated their support."
