I've been wondering lately: If there's an EMP burst and your devices get fried and the internet goes down; how can you use your bitcoin that you have bought to trade without cash?

The fact is that crypto is extremely vulnerable to a micro nova which would be a World Wide EMP burst that will take out all if the devices you have, not to mention the internet too. There are data centers that are EMP hardened but they still need the interconnection points and users which often are not hardened. Cash still has a place. By cash, I mean silver and gold also dirty dollar notes. You will need enough to carry you until systems can get back. Some systems might never return.

That's true. That's exactly what mine looks like. The problem is that you will need some form of paying while the systems are down and you can recreate the wallet.
