Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) on Sunday brushed off criticism he and another GOP lawmaker received for tweeting out photos from a video call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky—even though participants were specifically asked not to share any pictures on social media.

Rubio—the vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee—and Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) were blasted by Democratic lawmakers after they both tweeted images of the Ukrainian leader, while noting they were currently on a call with him about the Russian invasion.

(JTA) — Konstantyn Batozsky believes he is on a list of so-called “neo-Nazis” to be rounded up “Gestapo-style” and “exterminated” by Russian forces seeking to enter Kyiv.

Batozsky, a Jew from eastern Ukraine, said he was informed about the “bounty on his head” by Ukrainian intelligence sources. But as a longtime and avowed Ukrainian nationalist who has collaborated with an paramilitary group that has a reputation for including extremists, he knows that it’s people like him that Russian President Vladimir Putin was talking about when he cited a need for “denazification” as a pretext for invading his country.

“I have been staying underground away from my apartment where the Russians will try to find me,” Batozsky said from a makeshift bunker preparing for what appears to be an imminent invasion as bombs rained down outside the city center.

“I am happy that I’m alive,” he reflected, as he coordinated efforts to get much needed supplies to the Ukrainian army. “It now feels like every day could be the last.”

Initially cheerful in the early days of the war as the Ukrainians were surprisingly resilient against the much bigger Russian army, Batozsky now sounded more worried. And angry.

“The Russians are advancing and the West is not helping. Just words are not enough,” he lamented. Batozky pleaded for Western countries to intervene militarily.

Prince Charles compared Vladimir Putin to Hitler back in 2014, but was criticized for the comment by lawmakers including the Russian president himself, a royal biographer has told Newsweek.

The Prince of Wales made the off-the-cuff remark during a tour of Canada, triggering a debate about the convention of royal impartiality among U.K. politicians and in the press.

Charles' tour was in May 2014, just a few months after Russia had annexed Crimea, and he was talking to a Jewish survivor of the Second World War, Marianne Ferguson, who volunteered at the Canadian Museum of Immigration in Halifax.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on Sunday stopped short of criticizing and rejecting a suggestion by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) in which the South Carolina Republican called for "somebody in Russia" to take out Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Asked by co-anchor Jake Tapper on CNN's "State of the Union" if he agreed with Graham, Rubio suggested that his colleague's tweet was fueled by frustration from the Russian invasion.
