Wouldn't go that far as to say a social thing, if you've ever taken a course/class on public speaking, they, if it's a good instructor, should go over body language and confidence. Can't have someone teaching/talking about a subject fidgeting and fumbling; also useful during job interviews. Most time's I've experienced that one first hand is when I got called to the carpet for something, God forbid management/leadership, not appear confident while ripping your ass…..
