Not a Dr. but have all these test done yearly.
EKG is electrocardiogram, it usually takes longer to hook up wires to your chest, etc. than the actual test.
Ultra Sound of heart. This is just like you see on T.V. with the jelly stuff on a pregnant woman's belly but around the heart.
Stress test is done on a treadmill. You are hooked up to wires like the EKG. You then jog on treadmill to get your heart rate up to a certain determined point for the scan or reading.
Nuclear Stress test is the same thing except it is for those who cannot jog long enough for various reasons, weight, legs, medical condition. You are given medicine to get heart rate up for the scan or reading.
Also, you can be given a radioactive tracer and images taken at rest and after jogging, etc.
